Mint green"sears silvertone" tube radio with clock. BOTH WORKING. a bit of dull finish at the top, small area of faint yellowing on side. vintage 1965 Fanon Outrider FCB-11 Transceiver 11 transistors NOT TESTED These are from an estate of an old-time ham amateur radio operator who died in 2003 who saved a lot of parts and stuff for future re-use. Not used between 1999 and 2014. Place of manufacture is Japan. Antenna is 27 1/2 inches when fully extended. LIMITED TESTING" I opened up the battery compartment. It appears to be clean. It uses 6 AA batteries. So I put 6 in and tested the unit as best as I can. The on-off switch works. The volume switch works. The squelch switch works. All I could hear is static, did not pick up any human chatter. Probably too far away from anybody that might be using a CB. The push-to-talk button appears to work(it silenced the static) I called"CQ" a couple of times, but received no response. With manufactures Westinghouse. RCA, Lindal, GE, Philco, Sylvania, Ratheon and ITT. These tubes on average sell on Ebay from $3 to $20 a piece. On average they are about $5-$6. Sansui AU-D7 Integrated Amplifier Completely Recapped Has New Output Transistors
Sansui AU-D7 Integrated Amplifier Linear A + DD/DC Completely Recapped Has New Output Transistors These were originally just sold in Europe and did so well that Sansui released a few American versions of this amp and this is one of them. All the electrolytic capacitors on this entire unit were all replaced with new audio Elna Silmic II capacitors the 2 main and board power caps were replaced with new Panasonic caps and all other power caps with Rubycon and Panasonic. The output transistors were replaced with new ON Semiconductors, the front indicator lamps were replaced with new ones, all the controls were cleaned with Deoxit and work excellent, the bias has been set to the original factory mV settings, the unit was manufactured in 1981 according to the serial number, with the adding of the new output transistors and recap this sounds absolutely ... moreincredible! and I am sure better than it originally sounded when it was new, this Sansui's is designed to run on 120 volts. Elna Silmic II capacitors have a 100 hour break in period I have run the unit for about 20 hours for testing so that means that every time you listen to this up to that 100 hour period it will keep sounding better so if you notice a difference in sound each time you turn it on that is why. The unit is in very good cosmetic condition there are some surface scratches on the cover top and some small dents on the cover the pictures show most of them. This is very heavy about 35 pounds so the unit will be packed well You will have to be home to sign for this or the delivery service will not leave it! also these units have a 3 month warranty for repair. Vintage Sony ICF-9630W 1IC plus 6 Transistors AM/FM Table top Radio
Vintage Sony Model ICF-9630W one of the first with intergrated circuit late 1970s likely. AM works perfectly but on FM there is a clear consistent fuzz sound that does not change when tuning. My uneducated guess is bad IC circuit though I am not an expert. Everything else is fully functional the case is plastic and is clean free of marks and no damage. Face is also clean and damage free along with the dials. Nice look to this one and the perfect radio if you are ok with only AM. And more perfect if you can perform what is likely a simple fix.
