JFW 50DR-003 50dB dual concentric rotary attenuator, DC to1GHz, BNC, 1 watt max
This is a JFW DR50-003 50 Ohm. 50 dB step attenuator. It can be used as a stand-alone bench attenuator, or easily mounted to a panel or in a piece of test equipment with only the knobs on the front of the panel. The max power capability is 1 watt. It's good from DC to at least 1000 MHz. I put it on a network analyzer and checked all of the steps, and they work perfectly. I have included 0-1000 MHz sweeps with the attenuation set to 0 and 25 dB. The return loss is really impressive throughout the range, the worst case was about 18 dB at the high end and much better everywhere else. Its attenuation accuracy was about +0.3 dB at the high end, but I think that might be due to the N-BNC adapters I used. It really is an impressive attenuator for one that is so broad in range. The bottom half of my plots are the insertion losses, as you can ... moresee this thing is really flat. It's a great low-power attenuator for general use around the lab. Test bench, ham shack, etc. where accuracy, stability, flatness and 1-dB steps are needed. It was used for a short time as a receive attenuator and is in nearly-new condition.
