This one sounds so creamy- the 1973's are very similar to the best Triangles, it has that Harley Davidson biker on meth attitude. There is a whole'nother universe of low midrange grind in this box, brown rainbows, exploding Pintos rear ending themselves into the refrain of popular Doobie Brothers melodies. Up for your consideration is a vintage 1970's Sony Solid State AM Transistor pocket radio. This transistor radio is vintage from the 70's and features a nice brushed nickel toned color with four colorful dots on the front. This radio is AM(x10kHz) only and takes one 9 Volt battery to operate. Model number is TR-4100 and has 6 transistors. Measurements are approximately 4 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" deep. The radio also has an earbud jack for private listening. The condition is minty with minor sporadic surface scuffing on the front face. Edges mostly, but nothing deep or large. The dial lens is clear with no cracks. And all of the black plastic is solid and lush with no fading or sun damage. THESE WERE TESTED AND WORKING USING THE MARANTZ RECEIVER RATED AT 70 WATTS. ONCE THEY WERE REMOVED BOTH WERE AGAIN TESTED WITH A MULTI METER DIODE TEST TO ENSURE THEY BOTH TESTED GOOD. THE RECEIVER WAS A PARTS UNIT AND WAS NOT INTENDED TO BE RESTORED. I have transistors from the same era(1970s) that are identical in shape and size- but produced a few months or years later. MC as opposed to MA for example. See photo for item code) Included in this auction are two real transistors drilled out. With a brass screw installed. Some are weathered, some are nice- the process involved in converting these is lengthy and hard- I also have empty transistor shells and full intact transistors upon request of you want to glue yours on, or install them yourself. Many popular clamp spacers have 8/32 threading for replica transistors and these will fit just the same.

Thanks for looking at my listing. This is for 2 vintage Toshiba output transistors. The numbers on both are 2SC793- Y3J. My knowledge on electronics is very limited. But they look to have never been used. I recently purchased a large amount of vintage CB and electronic equipment from a store that closed it's doors in 1979. The items were still stocked on the shelves just as they were left 35 years ago, very cool experience. These transistors were the repair shop in a labeled cabinet with alot of other NOS items.
