Great item for anyone that refurbs or repurposes. I found this on an old replica lamp that was made in England and almost chunked it as the lamp was not in good condition. It is shaped like a blimp and is made of bakelite. It has a toggle on/off switch and could be used for rewiring a lamp. I left the wire part that has the plug on it. It has had a small come apart on one side that could probably be fixed. The switch measures approx 2 1/2" long and is approx 1" in diameter. It is marked with a fat either M or W. This a slightly used.Wired and modified long Switchcraft 3 way toggle switch. The switch works as new. Wired with metal braid wire,a black switch tip and deep thread nut. The modification is I ground down the base of the switch to fit in the control cavity of a Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar. The Studio model is 1/8th" thinner than a Standard or a Custom.
