Glass, and matting and the frame has a broken edge along the right top edge. There is slight foxing due to age, but otherwise it shows a nice scene and is rare find. Posted with Edward V. Brewer is a white painter& illustrator of St. Paul. MN. He is Minnesota's answer to famed illustrator Norman Rockwell. From 1911 until 1926, Brewer created popular Cream of Wheat advertisements, folksy ads for the Minneapolis company, that have become collectors items. He did advertisements and oil on canvass. The famed illustrator did 102 original paintings. More than an illustrator, he was a noted portrait painter and landscape artist who lived in Minnesota where the company was headquartered. Fine. Original, steel-engraved plan of St. Petersburg, by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge(SDUK) published as part of the Society's Atlas in 1844, in London, by Chapman and Hall. The SDUK began its map publishing project under the leadership of Captain Francis Beaufort R.N. in 1829, and published the maps in parts, haltingly, over the next 15 years, completing the series in 1844, finally permitting the publication of a whole atlas. Many of the maps were actually drawn by Beaufort, who at the time was the Hydrographer to the Royal Navy, and all were closely supervised by him. J. C. Walker worked closely with Beaufort in engraving the maps. The idea for the town plans, of which the SDUK published many dozens, was that of W. B. Here is a used. St. Croix medium casting rod. It is 7 ft long and is designed for ten to seventeen pound test line. Lure weight one quarter to to three quarters of an ounce. This rod is used but it is in good fishing condition with lots of years left. It is glass s rod. Moderate action, an older model I think. So I don't know how much, if any graphite. was used. It has the original bulbous cast mouthpiece and top loop. Many of these were changed soon after issue, as officers found the mouthpiece to small to be properly gripped with the teeth. This whistle is in good original condition. With only relatively minor dings and marks to the tube body. The impressed markings are also very clear, as is the issue number- 1 160. Over all. Mountain Bike Brake/Shift Levers Shimano STI ST-MD50L & R 3x7 Gears Circa 1990
These Shimano Total Integration“rapid-fire” shifters/brake levers come from a Giant Sedona mountain bike that was new in 1990 or 1991. Shimano began production of integrated shifters/brake levers in 1989. So these are early models. Up and down shifts are made with the thumbs, unlike later models, which use the index finger to shift into smaller tooth gears. The“L, or left, of the pair moves the front derailleur between three chain rings. The“R, or right, moves the rear derailleur between seven cogs. The Giant was ridden about 700 miles. Mostly on trails, with a cyclometer on it, and probably no more than that before the‘meter. However, it did some hard miles on a bike rack on the back of a camper. The levers were cleaned and lubricated after removal from the bike. Cable barrel adjuster bolts are included. The wire ties you see in the images ... moreare holding the brake adjusters in their assigned position. The bottom side of the protective plastic housing of the rear(right) shifter is broken. See photos. Nevertheless. The brake levers and shifters were still working as designed when removed from the bike on 5 Feb 13.

Nice vintage carnival sign. Made by the"ST. LOUIS CARNIVAL SUPPLY CO. ST LOUIS" This is stamped on the back. Says"HOT DOGS" This sign measures 16 1/2" X 14" X 1/4" I think this type of board it is on is mason board. Not sure. This sign is white with a red border with the letters in gold and red. This is an old sign that has chips in the paint and there is one hole at the top center for hanging. I am charging $10.00 shipping because I'm not sure what it will cost. Val St Lambert Cameo Glass Vase with Brass/Bronze Swan Base Art Green Vintage
There are 12 pics above plus an additional 91 photos below the description. Val St Lambert Cameo Vase with Metal Base Recent estate find. The glass vase itself measures approximately 8-5/8" tall. When the vase is sitting in the metal base. The item is just over 9" tall. The base is approximately 5" wide. The total weight of the glass vase and metal base together is 2 pounds 9 ounces. The underside of the glass vase is signed Val St Lambert. The metal is seemingly unmarked. I assume the metal base or holder is brass. Maybe it is bronze. The yellow metal does not attract a magnet. I must admit that reviewing this item with the mindset of trying to describe it has given me a headache. My first issue is this metal holder. I assume the base is original to this vase. Because it came with the vase, and the vase seems to fit in there ... morerather nicely, but I can't say with any level of certainty if it is indeed original or not. It could very well be a marriage- I don't know. My second issue with the holder is that the swans do not hold tightly to the base. They wiggle back and forth a great deal. One swan sometimes will hold tightly to the base and vase. But the other is always a little loose. It is possible that maybe the right angle with screwing and unscrewing might tighten them up, but as you can see in the pics, the heads of the screws already have a noticeable amount of wear, so I didn't want to mess with them more than I had to. I first unscrewed them to better review the vase. This was a somewhat easy task. But when I had to put the vase back inside the holder- it was not nearly as easy. It was actually a little annoying to do so- it's just an awkward thing to do with the metal rubbing the glass and what not- and of course the fact that the swans won't sit tight doesn't help. So obviously when everything is assembled. Not only do the swans wiggle back and forth, but of course- the vase moves around as well. You could actually pick the vase up by the neck, and all would still hol
