This is a beautiful hand beaded half apron by the Arizona Apache tribe. This is a rare find and believed to have been part of a ceremonial apron. This apron was left to a lady who is wanting to find the right home for this unbelievable handmade piece. Native American breechcloth apron clothing - cloth rug blanket
As you can see there are no tags or labels on this apron what so ever. It looks recently made in the last few decades. On the bottom are two slits for the legs. Up the sides the two pieces of material are woven together. Until you get to the top where the arms come out. At the very top is a V cut for the neck. The two pieces are not woven but tied together at the shoulders. Very basic pattern. White apron with dark maroon patterns. No stains pop out, this was taken care of and bagged over the years. Estate find Apron w Native American lady applique (makes a pocket)
Local Oklahoma estate sale find. This deep red apron was embellished with a large appliqued Native American lady. She faces away. And we can see her pigtails, her yellow fringed shawl and skirt. Bottom is trimmed in yellow rick-rack. Gathered at the waistband. Ties in the Back. Embellishment is rather big. About 14" tall. The yellow shawl is actually a pocket! Unusual. One of a kind find. Top of apron across: 25" Ties: 23" Hem width:31" The dress form used in the photo is small. Beaded Authentic Native American Leather Hider Apron Estate 1972 Moth Damage
Beautifully beaded authentic Native American traditional leather apron. I've just been told it's a hider apron used with a round bustle or Chicken Dance outfit and is a modern version of the breech cloth. Purchased by my parents for sale in their Native American gallery in downtown Seattle in 1972 and in storage since it closed in 1980. This is in fair condition with a musty odor from many years of storage and has extensive moth damage to the fabric streamers and some damage to the tassels. The leather has marks and has been"roughed" up(lots of wear) but the beadwork is in good condition with no missing beads.It has a buckle for fastening and has two rectangular sections of deer skin approximately 11" across by 14" tall with a connecting section that measures 1" tall by 4-1/2" wide(all one piece) One ... moreside with the orange beaded flower has black tassels and the other side with the green four petal flower has red tassels and two sets of colorful fabric streamers that have heavy moth damage. I've tried to vacuum and brush clean all moth damaged areas and remove any of their leavings. Being sold as is. Probably best as a display item rather than as a wearable as the fabric parts are probably very brittle. Sale to U.S. and Canada only, it weighs 11-ozs.

Vintage Half Apron Seminole Native American Beautifully Pieced Folk Art
This apron is a wonderful example of Folk Art. It has exciting colors. Incredible piecework, and rick rack trim. The ties are 39 inches long. The apron is approximately 15 inches at the gathered top, 21 inches long, and 34 inches across the slightly curving bottom. There are two patch pockets each with more piecing and rick rack. I think it is Seminole, but maybe it is Mexican.

VINTAGE BROWN AND YELLOW APRON WITH NATIVE AMERICAN MOTIF
This auction is for a darling vintage apron that appears to have a Native American motif which is quite unique and unusual. I love it. The brown is organdy. But soft, rather than stiff, and the yellow is the perfect shade to complement the brown. The yellow fabric is textured and reminds me of fabric from the 1950's, but I can't remember the name of it. The design is in a brown and golden color that works beautifully. This apron measures 16" across the waist, across the hem is a generous 38 1/2" for a nice flirty bounce. From the waist to the hem is 18. Each tie is 25" long and 2" wide(doubled) Aprons are sexy to wear, especially when they are full like this one.
