This cap is also for use as an oval fuel cap. This is a new cast iron oval radiator or fuel cap assembly. It is correct for John Deere unstyled D and GP tractors and has the"small knob" or"water faucet" knob which is unique to these tractors. See our other listings for the correct cap for the John Deere unstyled A. B and G tractors as well as parts to restore your existing cap. This cap is made with the correct cast oval lid complete with correct steam/vent holes and proper placement of the casting number. It also has the correct knob with brass stud and steel lock bar as well as a new oval gasket and steel baffle plate. This cap is unique to us as we make it and we have offered it for many years. It replaces AD86R and AD78R. If you purchase this for use as a fuel cap and you are attempting to be 100% correct then just ask and the proper cork oval gasket can be substituted for the rubber oval gasket at no additional charge. John Deere Unstyled& Very Early Styled B Complete Transmission Assembly. Excellent Unit. All of the Gears are in Great Shape. There are No Broken or Chipped Gear Teeth. Shifting Forks are in Good Shape and are Not Broken or Welded. Good Sliding Shaft with Good Indents. Upper and Lower Shafts Look Nice, I would personally replace the bearings, I know the bearing on the top shaft on the flywheel side will need to be replaced for sure. This is one of the nicest Unstyled/Early Styled B Transmissions I have had in a long time. Ready for your Restoration.
