Early Original Ford Tractor 9N 2N Rebuilt Governor & Instruction Book 8
Here is a great condition and very Nice rebuilt governor from an early 1940 to 1941 Ford 9N tractor. It will also work great on other year 9N and 2N tractors with the same linkage type. If you will notice in the pictures that the mounting flange is heavy all the way around. After Ford done away with the cast iron bodies this was the first casting of the pot metal governors. It is a lot better casting as the mounting flange dose not warp as bad as the soon later. Light weighted housings that came out. If you are wanting to make your early 9N original. Add this to top it off. The internal bearings were replaced along with the governor balls and control shaft seal. All the other items were checked for wear and factory tolerances were reset. Paint was striped and is primed to allow your finish coat of paint to stick better. Included is a new ... moregasket and a scanned copy on CD of the original Ferguson systems. Maintenance& Repair of The Governor and Control Linkage. This has all the instructions and trouble shooting you will need to set factory speeds and linkage settings. This is a very good book to have if you have a N tractor. Don't just buy another used governor and hope for the best. Here is a great condition Original. Rebuilt governor for a Ford 9N and or 2N tractor. If you want to make your Tractor original. Add this to top it off. The internal bearings were replaced along with the governor balls and control shaft seal. All the other items were checked for wear and factory tolerances were reset. The external case mounting face was flat ground to prevent leakage. Paint was striped and is primed with etching primer to allow your finish coat of paint to stick to the aluminum. Included is a new gasket and a scanned copy. On CD of the original Ferguson systems, Maintenance& Repair of The Governor and Control Linkage. This has all the instructions and trouble shooting you will need to set factory speeds and linkage settings. This is a very good book to have if you have a N tractor. Rare Original 39/40 Cast iron Ford Tractor 9N Rebuilt Governor With Instructions
Here is a Great condition and very Rare rebuilt cast iron governor for the early 1939 and a few 1940 Ford 9N tractors. This Governor dose not have the later factory oil revision modification in the back for the oil line that was later introduced. The early 9N's were oiled from the oil traveling up the gears then later they added the oil line in the back for more lubrication. If you are wanting to make your early 9N original. Add this to top it off. It is in great condition but it dose have a slight imperfect linkage ball as pictured. It will not affect its performance especially with the spring loaded linkages. I'm seeing information that says Case tractors like this model. I don't know anything for certain. But I'll help you match your application to the best of my ability. The magneto throws a nice hot spark. The cap is in very good shape with no cracks. I check these magnetos over completely top to bottom. I believe the crankshaft was polished, not reground. Does not burn any oil. No oil leaks. No antifreeze in oil. No unusual knocking or noises. Great oil pressure. Does not include carburetor. Clutch or magneto. I ran the engine up to operating temperature and retorqed the head and reset the valve gap. This engine has less than 1 hour of run time. Rebuilt Ensign Carburetor for international ihc 10-20 or farmall regular tractor. I'm selling for a friend who bought it at the Portland Indiana engine show rebuilt for a project and never got to use it. It has been sitting on a shelf for a few years. I checked it over and it has all new gaskets and looks to have a new throttle plate. I have scene same carburetor for sale for over $400.00. but because I didn't rebuild it I can't offer a warrenty so I will be offering for a lot less. so it will be sold as is all sales final. if you need any more pictures let me know. Ford Tractor 8N Rebuilt Governor With Instruction Book9
Here is a great condition rebuilt governor for a Ford 8N tractor without proof meter drive. The internal bearings were replaced along with the governor balls and control shaft seal. All the other items were checked for wear and factory tolerances were reset. The external case mounting face was flat ground to prevent leakage. Paint was striped and is primed with etching primer to allow your finish coat of paint to stick to the aluminum. Included is a new gasket and a scanned copy on CD of the original Ferguson systems. Maintenance& Repair of The Governor and Control Linkage. This has all the instructions and trouble shooting you will need to set factory speeds and linkage settings.
