VINTAGE INTERNATIONAL FARMALL IHC TRACTOR HAND CRANK WITH SPINNER
Up for auction is a manual crank. I was raised on a farm and I recognize this as a crank for an IHC Farmall or International tractor. It has remnants of red paint on it. It is not bent or distorted. The spinner works well and the business end is not distorted from over use or abuse. There are no identification marking on this crank that I can find. I have done research on this which supports my theory. We obtained this through an estate sale so we didn't get any background on it. It has light surface rust but in overall in very nice condition. Farmall B antique farm tractor Hay rides utility use hand crank new tires
So this is my old 1940's Farmall B. It is in super condition for all things considered. There are minor issues with the tractor. Like some antifreeze at the front end, at the gas shut off, and some at the 1 rear tire. Another minor issue is the brakes are not in perfect adjustment, and may throw you if you are not careful. This does not have an electric start, so you have 3 options. Learn to use the hand crank, catch it in gear, or get someone else to start it for you. You may need to resort to catching it in gear if you work it hard. Honestely you will be amazed at how easy this starts. I turn the gas off each time I run it, and let it run dry. When I start it next time I simply turn the gas on, choke the carb, stick the hand crank in ad give it a few good turns and it is running. I parked it last fall and just the other day went out ... moreand it fired right up. The tires are all but new. There are 3 new tubes, and I believe 1 new front tire. The other may be from the prior owner. The story that I am giving is brief. I bought this 20 years ago as a fixer up. Never happened. I put a new tire on the back and front. Had the local farm tractor seller give it a tune up with the govoner. It would idel up irradically) New points condenser, wires. It ended up sitting for 10 years, after my dad passed I poured a little gas in the tank, Gave it a few cranks, realized I didn't turn it on, and a few more cranks it was running. I only ran this as a working tractor for a small time pulling a drag behind mower. It was to much mower for the hill we lived on. Now It is only for taking the kids around the neighborhood for rides. That is all I'll ever do with it) As far as the details of the unit, you can do the research and find the specs. This is for local pick up only. I will help load it, but I do not have any ramps, or any way to pick this up. I am about 10 minutes from Cabelas in Hamburg PA. So bring a trailer, and take a trip, kill 2 birds with one stone.
