The balls are round with no flat spots. This is a 1960 TO35 tractor that was running when I took the three pictures. The motor has a miss so it probably has a valve that's stuck. Old TACO FORDSON Tractor Governor Farm Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Magneto Oiler
This is an old Taco governor for a Fordson tractor. It is in used condition. It has the original name tag on it and was made by the Tractor Appliance Company in New Holstein. Wisconsin. It stands about 16 inches tall. It moves as it should and has some mild wear in the bearings. It has the original drive gear on the end of the shaft and it is in great condition. The only real flaw that I've noted is that one of the mounting ears has been broken. I don't think this would be too tough of a repair and you should be back in business. These original Fordson governor attachments are not that easy to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on this one. They are real attention getters at the shows!
