This auction is for a 1946 John Deere Model A Tractor SN 567XXX with the Slant Dash. This is an electric start tractor. The engine is loose and turns over. But it hasn't been started in several years. The tin is in fair shape and the the wheels are all good, but the tires are shot. The Two-Cylinder authentic production research record will be included with the purchase of the tractor. It was shipped from the factory on April 26, 1946 to Grenora, North Dakota. John Deere A Generator Pulled from a slant dash A with electric start. This unit has no broken mounting holes and does have pulley. It is missing the brush cover. The unit is rusty but spins freely. All the brush springs appear intact. I have included the bolts that mounted the generator. Don't know if original. This unit does fit other John Deere models but do your own research.
