I am a former antique tractor restorer who is no longer restoring. I understand the importance of finding good used parts. I offer only what the salvage tractor had available and do my best to accurately describe the item, but I may miss something. Most of the parts I offer are clean. Some parts are freshly painted, some are stripped of paint, however if the part is dirty or greasy in the photo, then you will receive it the same way. This listing is for the Rock Shaft Lift Arm that was removed from a 1952 John Deere Model M tractor. It is a genuine John Deere part. It was left over from a restoration. Oily and greasy but no visible cracks or welds. It was removed from a tractor that is now more ... morethan 50 years old. There are no visible cracks. Shows the usual signs of fair wear and tear from parts this age. But still is in fair shape. Overall it is in pretty good shape. Comes with what you see in the photos and requires cleaning. Sandblasting, priming and painting to restore. It has been on the shelf more than 10 years without any attention given to it since removal. Buyers must conduct their own research to determine if this component will fit their tractor. I am not responsible for you buying the wrong part. This is not a new part. It is an old part. You are considering purchase of salvage tractor parts from a salvage tractor that is being parted out. I have no way to determine serviceability other than a visual inspection. I cannot x-ray or conduct dye penetrate inspection. Once in a while there is that one buyer who is dissatisfied with an old tractor part or is impossible to please.
