John Deere Late Styled A. B, G, 50, 60, 70, Delco Remy Distrbutor& Coil Set with Coil Mounting Clamp& Bracket. Came off of the Restored 1951 B Tractor Shown. Excellent Working Unit. Tractor Started and Ran Very Nicely. The only single flaw I see with this assembly is one of the terminals on the distributor is cracked and broken on the edge, once the plug wire is installed it covers up the damage, but I did want to mention it, It doesn't effect its operation. JOHN DEERE LATE STYLED B DLTX 67 GAS CARB CARBURETOR OFF A RUNNING 1951 B WOW NR
John Deere Late Styled B DLTX 67 Gas Carburetor. Came off of the Restored 1951 B Tractor Shown. Nice. Clean, Unbroken Carburetor. Everything is Fully Adjustable. Idle, Load and Choke Adjustments All Move Freely. Stem is Not Broken or Repaired. Threads are Perfect and the Nut Tightens Up and Stays Tight. Tractor Ran Very Well. I would just personally replace the bowl gasket and get new mounting gaskets, set your adjustments and you will be good to go. I wire brushed it checking for any cracks or weld repairs and found none. I don't know if this was or wasn't rebuild during the tractors restoration, but it all works and looks very clean inside. Consider what it would cost to send your carb off to get rebuilt, wait 6-8 weeks for the turn around and then get a $400+ rebuild bill. This will be a great addition to your B restoration. No Cracks or Chips in the Belt Surface. There is some pulley brake wear but it doesn't have very deep cut grooves into it. Perfect Drive Gear. Sleeve Slides Freely. All Clutch Cover Clips are Intact. John Deere Late Styled A DLTX# 71 Gas Carburetor. Came off of the Running 1951 A Tractor Shown. Very Nice Cast Body. Bowl Stem is Not Broken, Good Threads, The Nut Tightens Up Tight to the Body, Float isn't Stuck, Idle, Load and Choke Adjustments All Move Freely. The Idle screw has been modified, it looks like the handle was broken so they drilled it out and put a screw through it. Also the choke mechanism just has a wire holding the spring and isn't quite original. All Castings a Perfect. Looks Pretty Clean Inside. May need a kit if you choose to do so. Rare Carb. This is the style that slightly hangs over the top of the valve cover. Very Solid. Its only flaw that I can see is that the top exhaust pipe mounting ear is broken. All of the Other Mounting Tabs are Fully Intact. Original John Deere Casting Number is Easily Readable. No Rust Through or Heat Pitting Holes Anywhere. Ready for your Restoration. Delco Remy 12v Generator. Came off of the Running 1951 A Tractor Shown. This is NOT the correct generator for that model of tractor. But that's what it came off of. Pulley Turns Freely. All Mounting Ears are Fully Intact and there are No Breaks or Welds. This had a longer bolt and spacer used to make it fit the A Generator Bracket.
