When I purchased this item there was no jar and the ring was in bad condition. I cleaned ... morethe item up. Put a standard fruit jar lid on along with a 1/2pt Ball jar. Originally it was made for a 3" air intake pipe. I will include a home made adapter so it will fit on a 2 1/4" pipe like is on the IH 400 and several other tractors of that vintage. Simply slide the adapter over your intake pipe, drill 3 1/8" holes and pop rivet the adapter to the pipe. Now slip the pre-cleaner over the adapter and tighten it down. I had this on my IH 400 for a few years when I was making small square bales of hay. Worked great but no longer have use for it. Went back to the mushroom pre-cleaner. I am selling an original IH pre cleaner topper that is the one with the bowl! THESE ARE HARD TO FIND! We just took off of a running farmall 350 rowcrop tractor. Again you get the part that is shown in the photos. IT is in good condition and APPEARS ready to take home and use. Farmall 450 Special Options Pre-Screen - Air Cleaner - RARE!
This is a factory OEM Pre-Screen for a Farmall 450. I bought a 450 with a cracked head that I am parting out. This tractor has sat inside for a very long time and was covered with oil and grease and dust. This is a RARE option and to find one this nice is really rare. I have only seen one at a show once. My Dad is almost 70 and he said he has only ever seen one. There is a small ding in the top that you cannot see in the picture. There is also a very small tear about.75 inches long the screen that the picture does not show. The latch for the screen is perfect. It is covered with grease and dirt. This tractor sat inside for a long time before I bought it. I have included a scan from my 1958 Farmall 450 operator’s manual. John deere baler wisconsin engine pre-cleaner air cleaner
Hi. This is the oil bath air cleaner and pre-cleaner for a wisconsin engine. Probably has multiple applications. Selling it as is. The plastic mantle is sort of cool because I made that. I restored a John deere 14-T and the mantle on that Wisconsin engine was broken up. I removed the plastic from the broken one and installed one of these in its place. Fits perfect and worked great. I think I used some hot glue and glued it to the base of the pre-cleaner. Looked like original. These are some left over parts from that project. Selling it as is. Hopefully someone can use it. IH Farmall McCormick Super M 400 Glass Jar Pre Cleaner
This is the glass jar pre cleaner I took off of a Farmall 400 tractor. They had the same engine as the Super M. It is in good original condition. No bad rust spots just has paint bout gone. Typical stuff. Has a ding on the top dome part that is about 2" long& not very wide. It is right by my thumb in the one pic. Overall very good condition for its age.
