Antique Tractor Carburetor Marvel-Schebler TSX Updraft
Selling a Marvel-Schebler TSX updraft carburetor Used on antique tractors and some antique automobiles and equipment. I found this carburetor in a box with a few others at an estate sale. The old man used to restore Model T's. Hupmobiles, Metz, and other cars from the"Brass era" This carburetor is in good overall condition for its age. Some rust is apparent. The butterflies move as they should. I am not sure if it is 100% complete. But rebuild kits are available. I have not opened the carburetor. So I do not know the condition of the interior. This carburetor was on my 1958 Ford 861. 801 Series. It always ran fine, and not until I went to restore the tractor did we realize this was not the original carburetor for my tractor. I bought the correct one and am selling this one. It is a Marvel Schebler TSX-777. I believe it is off of a John Deere 440 Crawler, but can't be positive. I think it was manufactured in May of 1959, and has a 2 3/4" bolt pattern. Selling as-is. Marvel Schebler TSV 24 Massey Harris Pony 1947-57
Here we have a Marvel Schebler TSV 24 Carburetor. Choke and Throttle move freely. I am listing this as used. But it may be new. There is still paint on the fuel inlet threads, which should have warn off when a fitting was threaded in. You decide. You can heard the float move when you turn it over. It has a small hole drilled into the inlet as you can see in picture#4. I am not sure if it was always there. But the hose and clamp will most likely cover it. It doesn't go into the bulb. Just through the side wall. This carburetor will fit the Massey Harris Pony from 1947-1957. It may fit other models as well but those are the years it was built for.
