John Deere 40W Front Axle. Removed from a 40W Tractor. Steering Box Down to the wheel hubs. No welded steering arms. Center tube. Bolster, knees all in good condition. Bolt on and go! This front axle was used on the"W" or two row utility tractor in its first year of production(1955) The 420 and 430 tractors switched to a cast iron center section that is often broken. The center tube on this axle is steel. It is not an exact replacement for a 420W or 430W tractor but it will bolt on and work if your axle assembly is compromised. These pieces always seem to be damaged on these tractors. The center bolster(part that bolts to the engine) does have welds on it. Both knees look to be in good shape as do the wheel hubs. John Deere 420 W LP Tractor. 1958 420WLP. One of 100. S/N 126996. The earlier LP tractors did not have the"L" stamped on the tag. Including this one. Ive had the Two Cylinder Club research done from the John Deere Archives to confirm the tractor was factory shipped with and LP Gas Engine. This tractor is equipped with a five speed/live pto transmission. Has a tachometer and good spinout rear rims(no rust or calcium) The engine starts right up and runs good. Still has the original vaporizer unit on the tractor. Ive had new high pressure steel hydraulic lines made to run from the hydraulic pump to the three point unit(tractor currently has a rubber hydraulic line in their place) Transmission has a few issues. It needs opened up to have bearings replaced. The picture is not the best but if you are truly interested I can e-mail more ... morephotos. Include your e-mail address in the ask a question option. Not pictured but included are the three point pieces, drawbar and mounting frame, and correct seat frame. I have replaced the nosecone with a nice straight one. John Deere 320 330 40 420 430 435 1010(early) PTO replacement shield. This is a replacement shield only. It does not have the casting piece. You will need to reuse your casting piece. I have an original casting in the last two photos to show you how it will attach. You will need to drill some of the holes to attach and you will need new rivets. AGAIN. THIS IS THE SHIELD ONLY, NO CASTING. THIS WILL NOT WORK ON ANY TRACTORS UNTIL YOU ADD THE CASTING. John Deere Float Ride Seat. Extra Float Ride Seat I have held onto. it needs some help but these seats are getting hard to find. There are several cracks in the seat pan and the back of the seat is rusty. It still floats/rides up and down on the pivots. Sliders are still on the bottom. This seat will need work. The part# on the gearbox is M1784T and the part# on the pulley is M1786T. Please make sure the part# will work with your tractor befor e buying. Used John Deere crankshaft for 40-440 and late 320-330 tractors. Casting number is M3114T. Has been ground.010-010 at one time. Does have some staining and scratches but i believe it would clean up with a polish. Came out of a non running engine. I have other parts for John Deere A. B, M- 440 tractors.
