John Deere OTC tractor splitting stand parts 1010-4020 and more
The 2 big pieces are Owatonna Tool Company JDG-2D. I don't have a direct application reference but these are real close to a picture of the splitting stand part that bolts to the front half of a tractor that's a universal kit for 1000 2000 3000 4000 series tractors. A knowledgeable colleague tells me he's pretty sure mine is a later version of what I show in the catalog. The catalog reference is to Master Tractor Splitting Stand JDG-2L. The 2 thicker plates in the middle do not have any ID on them so I don't know for sure that they're part of this kit but they were with the other pieces and I'm including them here. The other flat strap has JDG-2D stamped into it so it's apparently part of the kit. Finally the hinge looking piece is JDG-2E and I'm not finding a reference for that but I expect it's part of ... morethe kit somewhere. I have many tools from a Deere dealership. I've been waiting on selling them until the other inventory from that batch was largely depleted since the tools were scattered through the pallets of parts. I'll be experimenting for a bit here on how best to list these and then I'll sell tools regularly until they're gone. I also have 4 of the blue OTC tool boards, all for the early new generation Waterloo tractors(3010- 4020 mostly) and I'll start working on those when the odd tools are gone. I am parting out this old John Deere 1010 wide front tractor. This tool box is in great shape. Could use some degreaser but all metal is solid and in perfect shape. This tool box was on a John Deere 1010 I restored. It was mounted to one of the engine frame. There are two holes in the back that matched the pattern. It is solidly made from thick gage steel. I do not know if it was a add on tool box or came with the original tractor. It was on it when I bought it and I did not put it back on after repainting the 1010. Would imagine you could modify it to fit any tractor.
