You are bidding on a brass IHC tractor carb. We were told this fits 10-20 McCormick Deerings and early Farmall tractors. But we aren't certain. It looks as if one screw(picture three, near the other screw) may be broken off, but not sure that wasn't a factory plugged passage way. There is wear on the shafts, to be expected with its age, but all the parts that are supposed to move do and the float is free. It has FARM stamped in the top. We haven't taken this carb apart to check internals. We just acquired a large number of items from our father. We will be listing them in the near future. I am sure it will need to serviced or rebuilt in some way but I don't know for sure. Parts seem to move freely from what I can tell without taking it apart. Looks like the wire coming up from one of the two screws at the top is broken off, looks easy to replace but the screw is rusty and may take some work to remove. This is rebuilt by a 36 year professional carb/ magneto shop rebuilder. This carburetor starts the process with checking this unit for cracks. Breaks, welds and bent shafts& plates. Stripping complete carb and then d isassemble of for internal inspection. Glass bead blast. Then check for proper mating surface, studs and or all threads. Then replacing broken or needed parts. Rebuilt Ensign Carburetor for international ihc 10-20 or farmall regular tractor. I'm selling for a friend who bought it at the Portland Indiana engine show rebuilt for a project and never got to use it. It has been sitting on a shelf for a few years. I checked it over and it has all new gaskets and looks to have a new throttle plate. I have scene same carburetor for sale for over $400.00. but because I didn't rebuild it I can't offer a warrenty so I will be offering for a lot less. so it will be sold as is all sales final. if you need any more pictures let me know.
