John Deere H Hood, sheet metal
Up for auction is an original John Deere H hood. I removed this hood from a 1940 tractor. SN 23310. This hood has some small dents and two small holes that could be easily fixed. I have them pictured. The hood has surface rust, but no deep pitting. This tractor was from Nebraska, in a much dryer climate then here in southern Illinois. The Serial Number tag is NOT for sale! It is shown for reference only. I also have the grills from this tractor for sale in another auction. So be sure to check my other auctions. John Deere 320 40 420 hood sheet metal. This is a fairly straight hood. But does have bends and dents.There are some cracks which the pictures show and the oil cap hole has some extra metal cut out. This is a 50 year old part and is not perfect. I have lots of pictures. This will need work to make perfect. We are parting out several 60s. 620s, 630s, 70s, 720s, and 730s, and will be listing some parts off of them as time allows. We also have a few parts for A, B, D, G, H, 50, 520, 530, 80, 820, 830. The one flaw that will need the most work is on the flywheel side lower right corner there is a small crack in the shape of a"C" see photo) that would need to be zapped shut with a wire feed welder.
