There is some rust that the pictures show but it should mostly sandblast off and paint with no trouble. The square nuts that hold it on the battery box will need to be replaced. A few of the bolt holes that hold the top seat cushion on have rusted out some(they will work fine) The strips of metal that go under the seat top need to be replaced. John Deere 430 1010 float ride seat. I bought this to put on a 1010 RS but the parts book says that they did not come with a float ride seat so I am going to sell it. This is how I bought it. Please see pictures. In the labor day auction at Polk's, these were bringing $1000-$1200 restored. I do not have time to restore this or I would and sell it like that. John Deere 520 530 620 630 Float Ride. It will fit any type of 520 530 620 630. This needs to be rebuilt. It will need new rubber springs and bushings at the bare minimum. Overall it is very straight as the pictures show. These are hard to find complete and in this straight of condition. There is some rust that the pictures show but it should mostly sandblast off and paint with no trouble. The square nuts that hold it on the battery box will need to be replaced. A few of the bolt holes that hold the top seat cushion on have rusted out some(they will work fine) The strips of metal that go under the seat top need to be replaced.
