In above average condition. The exhaust pipe bolt flange is very nice with no broken ears. The area where the exhaust sits is not eaten away at. The gasket surfaces are very good. The surface to the cylinder head will need a little more clean up. But it looks like you will be able to use it with out resurfacing the manifold. The inside of the manifold is clean, with no carbon build up. All the stud bolt holes are perfect and the manifold is not cracked or broken out around any of them. The part number is nice and crisp. That we just took off of and out of AC gleaner combine engine motor. I bought it as a good running Gleaner combine engine motor for an AC WD WD45 tractor, I never heard it run, it looked good, the oil was clean, it was stored inside and we just parted out. they appear ready to take home and used! Vtg Kewanee Steam Boiler Manifold Sight Glass Valve Brass Iron Steampunk Engine
Antique Vintage Kewanee Boiler Blow Down Valve and Site Glass Manifold Assembly. For restoration parts or artistic manifestation. Yellow portion of assembly is iron. The 5 valves are brass. There is no sight glass tube. I broke it, trying to remove it. Tube packing nuts are functional. Outside diameter of sight glass shows 11/16" Whole assembly 30 pounds. 4+ of that weight is the valves. 20- 3/4" long. Main body of cylinder is 3- 3/4" diameter. Bottom sight glass valve is full of sediment and froze up. Top valve turns proper. One of the blow down valves only turns a half a turn. The other two turn proper. All valves most likely have some sediment in them. If this assembly were to be used under pressure, valves would need restored. Nothing on assembly tested under pressure. Valve and top threads are all in good shape. With some ... moreboiler putty, rust and sediment in the main body bottom threads. Interior wall of main body of assembly is rusty and some thin lime deposits. Here and there, none heavy. Sight glass guards are straight. Will be shipping unassembled. See pictures for detail. Art.
