Old Stromberg M-2 Early Brass Tractor Carburetor Twin City Hit MIss Gas Engine
This is a very hard to find Stromberg M-2 carburetor for an early tractor or automobile. The body is made of brass. It has a 1 11/16 inch intake and a 1 7/16 opening into the manifold. It mounts with two holes 2 11/16 inches on center. It will likely need a complete rebuild but it is all there. A few of the steel fasteners have rusted off but overall this carburetor seems to be in pretty good condition. The throttle shaft is stuck and broken but the choke shaft moves freely. These carburetors were used on the early Twin City tractors and probably several others. They are EXTREMELY tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a restoration or for a spare on the shelf. Here it is. The pictures tell the story. Old Kingston Brass Tractor Carburetor Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Magneto Oiler
This is a really nice original brass Kingston carburetor for an early tractor or automobile. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts with two holes 2 7/16 inches apart on center. One has threads in it and the other is a through hole. The throat here is 1 3/16 inches in diameter while the intake is 1 3/8 inches in diameter. Everything moves as it should and the shafts are tight enough and very usable. The only blemish I see anywhere on this carburetor is a slight dent in the intake opening which would be easy to remedy. The bowl on it is cast brass like the rest of it which is rather unusual. Another unusual feature is the priming pin. I don't think I've seen another like it. The valve is missing for the drain on the bottom but these are available rather inexpensively as reproductions. ... moreThe pictures tell the story on this piece. Old Kingston Brass Carburetor Hit Miss / Briggs / Tractor / Car ?
Today we have a rare Kingston Brass Carburetor. It has a serial# Z92756n and the letter B stamped on it. It is in really good shape for its age. Everything moves as it should. It has the original linkage arm. The fittings on the bowl are brass also. There are no cracks or repairs that i can see. I think the bowl may be a cast brass. But not sure. I do not know the exact application for this carb. The gentleman who passed away had many hit miss motors as well as tractor and old car motors. Idle, Load and Choke Adjustments All Move Freely. Correct#7 Bowl. This carburetor has been disassembled and sandblasted and then wire brushed for a Nice Polish. Old Tillotson R Brass Cletrac Tractor Carburetor Hit Miss Gas Farm Engine NICE!
This is an extremely hard to find original brass Tillotson Model R carburetor for an early tractor. Car, or truck. It was used on Cletrac tractors and probably several others. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the original float in it and the original chamber cover but this needs to be fitted to sit down correctly. The choke moves as it should. It is missing the throttle shaft and butterfly but this should be easy to find or even make. This carburetor mounts with two holes 2 11/16 inches apart on center. It has a 1 7/16 inch opening at that flange. It has a 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 bolt pattern for the air tube. Overall this is a very nice carburetor that should take little work to be usable. Brass Ensign Carburetor IHC 10-20 Tractor, Early Farmall
You are bidding on a brass IHC tractor carb. We were told this fits 10-20 McCormick Deerings and early Farmall tractors. But we aren't certain. It looks as if one screw(picture three, near the other screw) may be broken off, but not sure that wasn't a factory plugged passage way. There is wear on the shafts, to be expected with its age, but all the parts that are supposed to move do and the float is free. It has FARM stamped in the top. We haven't taken this carb apart to check internals. We just acquired a large number of items from our father. We will be listing them in the near future. We all know what that might mean. Decide for yourself. However the carburetor does look to be in good shape. I've removed the bowl and adjusting needle in the pictures so you can see the condition they are in. The tag is in decent shape but I had difficulty in getting good pictures of it. The patent dates on the Kingston tag are 1904 and 1915. This carburetor was indeed used on Case model L tractors so it would be a great part if you collect model L's. Brass Schebler carburetor for antique engine 1-1/4" With check valve
All brass SCHEBLER float carburetor with 1-1/4" inlet NPT(inside 1-1/4" outside 1-9/16" appx. Carb has an all brass intake check valve attached which could be removed if not used on a 2 cycle engine. Carb looks like it is in good shape but I do not know anything about the inside. Probably the cork float would need to be recoated with shellac to be sure it floats. He said when he removed it it was working but has been sitting for many years. Both butterflies operate and are not stuck. I can't opine on anything else as I am not familiar with these old carbs. There is one cover plate that looks to be missing as pictured. The brass has not been cleaned as pictured. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself what condition the carb is in. For an old carb it looks to me to be in good condition but I imagine after sitting all this time it likely would need to be rebuilt by someone thant knows what they are doing and properly cleaned. Brass International Tractor 10-20 Carburetor Ensign
Antique Brass Carburetor International Harvester Co. I don't know a lot about this carburetor. But the tag shows it is an International. I found the numbers 10-20, C 11, 1722 D, and 5645 TMA on it. It probably comes from a 10-20 International tractor. It seems in decent complete condition. I found that one adjusting screw was loose, and in the last picture, it looks like someone might have cut a small slot to try to tighten the screw threads. Up for sale is an Ensign carburetor. Brass. Used on early John Deere tractors. Stamped 1 1/2 BJ on the flange. This is the way I got it. I do not know if it works or not. Threads all look good. Both shafts move freely. This one would be a great one to rebuild or to have on the shelf for a spare. Hard to find. Do your homework to make sure it will work for your application. John Deere DLTX3 Model D Tractor Brass Carburetor For Rebuild
A good candidate for rebuilding. Schebler DLT brass carburetor for an early model D tractor this is marked DLTX3* The carburetor will need to be rebuilt and I have shown some issues in the pictures it has the throttle shaft lever partially broken and has a broken stud on the choke side, the butterfly on the bowl also needs to be replaced. The body of the carburetor body looks good, choke shaft does have some movement. The body was cleaned up when I got it,still has some green paint in spots. This sells as is so be sure to look at pictures.
