Allis-Chalmers Carburetor & Shop Manual
My father owned a junk yard and had an Allis-Chalmers front loader that he would put around with. I think it was a WD but I am not 100% certain. At any rate. In the late 90s the engine block threw a rod. He took it apart but never got around to fixing it before he died a few years later. It is my understanding that this is the carb that came off his loader. It has sat on a shelf in a garage since the motor blew. I don't know anything about these carbs but I can tell you the linkage and the butterflys move freely and are not seized. Obviously it is recommended this be rebuilt given the age. Hence it is being sold as-is. The manual is kind of rough. Here is a vintage/antique tractor carburetor from Marvel Schebler. This is Model TSX 154/948. As shown on round brass tag. The carb came from a lot of disassembled Allis Chalmers farm tractors. Years unknown. The carb appears to be all original with no missing pieces. The float can still be heard moving when lightly shaken. All the arms move freely. There is still some remanents of the orange paint on the surfaces. This is sold for parts or restoration. The only damage appears to be a fixed crack on the fuel inlet. Allis Chalmers Zenith Carburetor 856 B
This is a Zenith carburetor marked 856b for a small allis tractor. Probably will work on other small old tractors as well. I bought it on EBay a few years ago and ran it on an Allis Chalmers B for a while. Look at the choke connection in the pictures. It doesn't connect to the long pull choke rode on a Allis B or C. It may have originally been off a D model. I eventually replaced it with a rebuilt carburetor so I could use the choke rod. It's been sitting around in the garage in a box for a few years so I would suggest cleaning it up. Sold as is. Shipping free via US postal service most economical way. I sold all my old Allis tractors so will be selling some parts in the next few days.
