Farmall 450 Special Options Pre-Screen - Air Cleaner - RARE!
This is a factory OEM Pre-Screen for a Farmall 450. I bought a 450 with a cracked head that I am parting out. This tractor has sat inside for a very long time and was covered with oil and grease and dust. This is a RARE option and to find one this nice is really rare. I have only seen one at a show once. My Dad is almost 70 and he said he has only ever seen one. There is a small ding in the top that you cannot see in the picture. There is also a very small tear about.75 inches long the screen that the picture does not show. The latch for the screen is perfect. It is covered with grease and dirt. This tractor sat inside for a long time before I bought it. I have included a scan from my 1958 Farmall 450 operator’s manual. There is a section called special options and this picture is from that part of the book. A lot of people call this a corn ... morepicker air cleaner. It is OEM. It is RARE to find one this nice! John deere baler wisconsin engine pre-cleaner air cleaner
Hi. This is the oil bath air cleaner and pre-cleaner for a wisconsin engine. Probably has multiple applications. Selling it as is. The plastic mantle is sort of cool because I made that. I restored a John deere 14-T and the mantle on that Wisconsin engine was broken up. I removed the plastic from the broken one and installed one of these in its place. Fits perfect and worked great. I think I used some hot glue and glued it to the base of the pre-cleaner. Looked like original. These are some left over parts from that project. Selling it as is. Hopefully someone can use it.
