The magneto has an inertia/impulse. snap' starting coupling installed and included though it really does not need one as the mag spins very easily and has a great spark just turning lightly. The strange thing is the cap/cover. With the small square on top. I carefully removed the four cover screws to take a peek at what was under there. I was suprised to find no points or condensor. There are three wires connecting the coil to what appears to be an electronic module in the cover. I've never seen a magneto like this. Please study the pictures. This part looks to be in good used condition. Came from an old Kohler Light Plant Genterator. The tag reads model 1A21 U No. 119765 KVA 1.5 Voilts 115 phase 1 cycles 60 rpm 1200 bat. volts 24 I do not know the year of this. But I understand these were made from 1926-1948 but I am not sure all parts are the same for all years. Never had this running, but it had been storred inside and seemed to be in overall pretty good shape. Be sure it is what you need before purchasing. VINTAGE ANTIQUE CASE TRACTOR 4-CYLINDER ENGINE IGNITION MAGNETO ~ TURNS NICELY
Here's an old Case Tractor 4-cylinder magneto that came with some buyout parts and is being sold as is. It turns nicely but I know nothing of it's history so it's possible it may need to be rebuilt. The cap looks good with no obvious cracks but that's not to say that once it's removed. Cleaned and inspected there might be a problem somewhere on it. The last photo shows a partial view of the inside condition. The gasket wasn't cooperating so I didn't go any further and be the one to rip it- it most likely will need to be replaced anyway. The 2 hold down screws on the cap are there but the 2 hold down nuts aren't, although those 2 studs look fine. Wico XH623 magneto. Four cylinder. Flange mount. Excellent shape all around. This is one of Wico's universal magnetos that could fit with a little rigging just about anything. I'm seeing information that says Case tractors like this model. I don't know anything for certain. But I'll help you match your application to the best of my ability. The magneto throws a nice hot spark. The cap is in very good shape with no cracks. I check these magnetos over completely top to bottom. Everything comes out and everything goes back in only if it matches the specifications. New parts are used inside as needed to provide years of service. This magneto is fully repaired. Old Original KW Model T 4 Cylinder Magneto Tractor Truck Hit& Miss Gas Engine. Magneto is not stuck and has a 2" diameter drive coupler. Looking at the drive end it is clockwise rotation. The end cap has a small chip by the top screw hole otherwise good. The brass part on the points cover is bent on one side. Missing points cover cap. Base mounting holes are good. No other cracks. Welds or repairs. See Photos! Auction is for one magneto photos of all sides. Buy multiple items and I can pack them together to save on shipping. This auction is for a NON WORKING model SP SUPER CHIEF magneto CW30. This MAGNETO IS STUCK. MAGNETIC ROTOR SHAFT WILL NOT TURN. The aluminum housing has a lot of water damage to one side. badly pitted. The distributor cap has two of the screw holes broken. I think the cap could still be used as is.The impulse is badly rusted although the spring is working. I have not opened this mag up. I do not know what the inside looks like or if it is complete. SELLING AS IS FOR PARTS. AGAIN.THE BEARINGS ARE STUCK MAGNETO WILL NOT TURN I do not know what this magneto fits. I think they were used on some Twin City tractors. I have MORE magnetos listed.
