Avery Tractor Magneto, Large K-W Model T 2 Cylinder
Here we have a large two cylinder K-W magneto. Model T, Number 050926. It has an unusual mounting base that is for Avery tractors. It is in good condition, the only things wrong are a small crack in the copper cover and a piece is out of the bottom of the point assembly mount, but it isn`t a big enough piece to affect it`s operation, the point assembly is nice and secure. The base is in great condition with no damage or repairs either. The impulse latch works, and it looks to be complete. It doesn`t have a spark, but I just picked it up yesterday, it has good magnetism, and I haven`t had time to play with it, I`ll leave it up to the buyer, chances are it just needs a good points cleaning. A good mag if you need an original one for your two cylinder Avery!

1956 John Deere 420 w tractor Row-Crop Utility 2 Cylinder 20+ Horse Power 3point
Really nice 1956 420 W Row-Crop utility tractor. Please read the complete description and email any questions to. I purchased the tractor from a John Deere dealer that took it in on trade from a gentleman that restored it with his son. The dealership said the mechanical restore is about a 7 on a scale of 1-10. And the paint is about a 6. It runs well. But I am only going off of what the dealer stated. I have attached a video of it running so you could hear it for yourself. The Good that I know/ see: Front tires look brand new. Runs well. Looks good. Back tires are good to very good. Has the adjustable levers if you want to set the 3point sides to different heights. Things I see that need attention: Right side rear wheel hub(not the whole rim. Just the center hub) is cracked. See pic. Paint on the front right side has a spot that has bobbled ... moreup. Right side seal on the 3 point lever has a small leak when used. I don't have a pto shaft for it. I don't know the hrs on the machine. It has been converted to 12V. It's a nice tractor that with a few $'s and someone with the time and know-how could have an awesome top notched restored tractor if they wanted to. If not. You could have a good looking 420 W as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping or local pick up. I can assist with delivery for a fee and can also be flexible with pick up times. John Deere 440 Two Cylinder GM 2-53 Diesel Loader Backhoe Tractor 40 430 420 435
John Deere 440ID Loader Backhoe Tractor. John Deere 440 GM 2-53 Diesel Tractor. Has the JD#71 Loader and the#51 Backhoe Attachment. Tractor is optioned with Factory Power Steering and a Reverser. The Detroit Diesel Engine runs good- they can be fussy to start in colder weather and I would recommend using a block heater on the tractor for winter use. The transmission is a five speed and drives forward/reverse without any obvious/abnormal noise. I have been using the reverser for forward/reverse as the clutch will not disengage when the pedal is pressed. I do not know if the clutch is stuck or if there is an adjustment that needs to be made to make it release at this time. The power steering works good; it may have a few connections that need tightening up as now and again the front wheels will continue to turn a small amount unless a small ... morecorrection with the steering wheel is made. The hydraulics/loader/backhoe all seem to function properly. There are some welds here and there on the backhoe frame. Front tires are in good condition; rear tires have good tread and hold air fine but do have some weather checking. I do have the hood for the tractor even though it is not pictured- it is in good shape with no dings/dents/etc. Restore it or use it. a 440 with the diesel engine had low production numbers and would be an interesting tractor to have in your barn. Up for sale is an Ensign carburetor. Brass. Used on early John Deere tractors. Stamped 1 1/2 BJ on the flange. This is the way I got it. I do not know if it works or not. Threads all look good. Both shafts move freely. This one would be a great one to rebuild or to have on the shelf for a spare. Hard to find. Do your homework to make sure it will work for your application.
