4-Step 1/2" Browning SCZ3 Pulley 2-5," A Lot Nicer Than It Looks!
This is a Browning 1/2" belt zinc pulley. With sheaves at 2, 3, 4 and 5" diameter. I have scrubbed it up nicely, chucked it up arbor in a drill press, on an improvised arbor, and run it to 4000 RPM, and it runs smoothly. It has one set screw& is broached for a 3/16" key. Because several of the sheave edges show dings, I have examined those edges very closely with a flat edge(easy for me to do, my uncorrected eyesight allows me to focus, easily, to 4 inches) and gently filed a few spots and steel-wooled the belt-area faces to get any unwanted materials off them-all this probably not a necessary effort, but I greatly enjoy rescuing& fixing things.
