HP8495A DC to 4 GHZ 0 to 70 dB Attenuator in 10 db steps connected with HP8494A 11 dB attenuator in 1 dB steps to give an attenuation range of 81 dB adjustable in 1 dB steps. As shown in pictures these are mounted together and connected with a type N rigid cable. The sale includes the two type N to Bnc connectors mounted on the input and output ports. I tested this item with a signal generator and spectrum analyzer at 450 and 800 Mhz ranges and the steps tested fine with the signal attenuating properly within the 1 db accuracy that can be seen on ... morethe spectrum analyzer. This is a N to N 10dB attenuator. Power not known, probably 1W, 50mm long. Markings Radial. Lot 9915 DC to 7GHz. Similar to Farnel.com item 4196843(1Watt) at £38. Except theirs is 38mm, this is 50mm It has an intermittency inside which means open circuit connection if stressed one way. And 10dB if stressed the other. I have swept it and can confirm that it is 10dB up to the 3GHz limit on the test eqpt. I tried to open it up hence the jaw marks on the one end. Force fit and unable to budge it.
