1935 FORDSON Tractor Instruction Book - Sherman & Shepppard - ORIGINAL
Fordson Tractor Instruction Book. Published by Sherman& Shepppard, Brooklyn, NY. The copywrite page is missing, but research indicates this was published in 1935. 6 x 9, covers missing, 132 pages. This ORIGINAL is in good condition. Please NOTE that the covers and endpapers are MISSING. All the remainder of the pages are present and still in binding thread. There is a coffee stain in the middle of the first(title page) which becomes progressively smaller on each succeeding page til is disappears on page 13. The pages are edgeworn. But free of marks, with some soiling, mostly fingerprints, here and there. I sell a reproduction of the 64-page Fordson manual that Ford published. Which is a question and answer format. This uses many of the same illustrations, but is a completely different manual. There is much greater emphasis in this manual ... moreon actual mechanical care and repair of the Fordson tractor. The Table of Contents is missing, but the index in the back is complete. Everything mechanical is covered- EXCEPT for the magneto. The page devoted to magneto repair carries one terse paragraph advising the reader that"In the case of failure of the magneto is is essential to consult an authorized Fordson dealer.

Item for bid is one USED International Harvester Parts Catalog for the FARMALL 200 and 230 TRACTORS. This is a full size. 8 and 1/4 inch by 10 and 3/4 inch catalog, 242 pages. It has a tear in the front cover about 1 and 1.2 inches long at the lower left next to the binding edge. Cover is faded. Pages have slight fading at the edges. Pages are clean, no damage. Just a decent parts catalog that came from an IH dealer's estate. Back cover is marked TC-53A 1-58 print date. TERMS: USA shipping only.
