Up for bid here is an original and vintage 1943"Operator's Instructions For Caterpillar Diesel D4 Tractor" for 4G. 7J and 2T Models. On the last page, it says that it is printed in the USA and it has 7-43 so I assume that this was published in 1943 at the start of the 2T series. As for condition, this book has a lot of farm shop type grime on it and there is a bit of writing in it as well. But, it is intact and it isn't that bad. It's authentic, that's for sure! It says that this book is Form 8174. This book or manual measures 6 inches by 9 inches and it has 52 pages in it. Happy Bidding!

Case Model 600 Diesel Crawler The Professional Mechanics Service Manual 1958 vtg
Up for bid here is the Vintage January 1958 publication titled"The Professional Mechanics Service Manual Model 600 Diesel Crawler" that was made by the J. I. Case Company. Inside on the title page. It reads"Case Terratrac Crawler Tractor Model 600 Diesel. This is a fairly large manual measuring 8-1/2 inches by 11 inches. Each section has a different set of page numbers so I can't tell you a total number there but this book is about 3/4 of an inch thick. As for condition, the main thing you see is that about half of the plastic spiral binder is missing. What is left still holds the book together though. Also, the holes in the pages look OK so it probably wouldn't be too hard to have it rebound. Other than that, there's a little bit of greasy fingerprint type grime and some discoloration on the edges of the pages ... morebut on the whole this book is still in good condition. Happy Bidding!
