Vintage original John Deere Model "A" Tractor operator's manual OM-RAI-945
Up for your consideration is a vintage authentic used operator's manual for a John Deere model"A" tractor. This was found in a cabinet inside of an old milking barn. This was the manual that came with a tractor and it was actually used by the farmer and it shows signs of this use. The cover has come loose from the rest of the manual(and the first page is not too far behind the cover. it is still holding on by a thread) What's really cool is that there's still the"new tractor delivery report" card inside the pages of the manual. and it has not been filled out. The staples are rusty. There are stains and grease. There are plenty of creases and folds, did I mention the grease? I don't know what else to point out about this manual. just look at the photos to get a view of the condition. oh, and it smells kind ... moreof like grease too. I have a few other manuals from this same barn. some in better condition. some about the same as this. I really don't think this gentleman threw out anything that he thought he might need again someday(smart man. Since he had the space in which to store all this stuff) I'll list these as soon as I get them photographed. This comes from a smoke and pet free home. I am not a professional eBay vendor. I like to shop and also have accumulated the greater part of several relative's estates over the years and need to clear out some items that we just have no use for. Description Here is a vintage operator's manual#OM-M27-252 for the John Deere Van Brunt grain drill. Model"RS" The manual is 6" x 9-1/8" and shows wear from use. There is damage to the outer edge of the front cover and the first few pages. There are dirt stains from use on both covers and the edges of the pages. There are 120 pages and in the inside pages are in good condition. The envelope has seen better days. It has tears on all sides and is very dirty from use. This auction is for an original Operator's Manual for a John Deere Model H Spreader. It is manual number OM-C1-1046. It has 48 pages. The manual not only shows the operation of the spreader. But gives the hookup instructions for various early JD tractors and many other tractor brands such as Case, IH, Minneapolis Moline, and Massey-Harris. The manual has been used a bit, but is complete.
