British Avon S10 Gas Mask Respirator Size 2 1987
I am no expert on these gas masks so I am not going to just copy and paste someone else’s information here for rear that I may be wrong. I can tell you I believe this is a S10 model size 2. It is marked AVON 1987 and 2 with a 10 on the tube that goes from the front center to the inside. I believe this is a drinking tube. I put the mask through the dishwasher here so it has that“fresh” dishwasher soap smell. It’s really more of a light scent then a smell. The white spots brush off with a sturdy scrub brush. I brushed most of it off already. Perhaps a soak in hot water will also get rid of them? The lenses are scratched and it does affect the view. I cleaned the lenses so what you see on them are scratches including one serious gouge scratch on one lens. 6 MSA masks in good condition. All Mediums. There are a total of 5 microphones, 5 headsets and 6 radio adapter cables with the numbers 812948 8J21. I listed them as Motorola( however you need to look them up and see if they fit your needs. Everything looks to be in very good condition with the exception of the headsets. Some of the ear cups are broken loose from the headpieces. It appears to be a simple super-glue fix but thats just my opinion(see last picture) All of this has been stored in a soft sided case hence the broken cups. All of this is untested. Thanks for stopping in to check out my auction. Here we have a very great condition USED MSA SCBA CUSTOM 4500 PRESSURE DEMAND breathing apparatus with storage case. This harness is the newer reflective high visibility type as seen in photos 11&12. This kit was used as an instructors rig. The air tank is a SCOTT 60 minute 4500 psi FIBERGLASS TANK. The tank is not new. It is not as nice looking as the rest of the gear. And has many scratches in the finish. There is a 4500 psi gauge mounted on it. THE AUCTION INCLUDES TWO FACE MASKS with hoses attached. one mask is brand new, but has a USED VOICE AMPLIFIER attached. The second mask is USED with a standard hose fitting attached. They both are size large. There is also one brand new face lens. The pressure demand regulator on this outfit is practically brand new. I was only able to find one ... moresmall scratch on its face(pic#8) I have no history on the air tank and I have no way to test it. Overall, this looks like a pretty nice set-up. I am not, nor have ever been a Firefighter, so I cannot say for sure what is, or what is not. The second face mask will be shipped in a second smaller box as it won't fit inside the case. I have One 3M Speedglas Three Cartridge Welding Respirator With Air Supply Hose. This Model 17-3099-01 Respirator appears to be in very good used condition. It has not been tested. And does not include the charger for the Nickel Cadmium Battery. Three Cartridges are included, but I do not know if they are good. I have a United States zipcode(96310) because I live on a military installation. So shipping will be similar, in price, as if shipping from California. The military postal system helps to defer the extra cost. Yet, shipping time frames will be much longer than quoted on the USPS shipping calculator. You should expect something closer to the international shipping time frames. Priority will not get there in 2-3 days; not even close. For example: my recent listings from December shipped(priority) on Jan 4th arrived Jan 17th. Of course this will depend on where you live and which shipping service you choose. I have seen packages take up to a month. Especially when parcel post(Now Standard Post) ... moreis used. Priority is much faster than standard post but standard is cheaper.
