The half inch drive does not work. The 3/4 drive works but seems weak but the air compresser I used didn't put out much volume. They both have been repainted but are in very rough shape. They would be good for parts or refurbish. They are very heavy.

Chicago Pneumatic CP6500 RSR Air Impact Wrench -TESTED WELL-1/2 dr Good BBT!
Here we have a multiple listing of CP6500 RSR's. This is a excellent impact. Strong and extremely durable. Tried on the torque tester it ripped nuts off that were torqued to 600 ft pds! I have primed these and given them 2 coats of paint. I doubt it is as good as the factory finish but they should hold up well. Look really nice now. Nice rubber like grips for comfort. Especially in the cold weather. True one hand forward reverse switch. 4 adjustments in forward. There are pictures of both here. Note the chip in the handle end on the second one. Chicago Pnuematic CP734 - 1/2 dr Impact Wrench -Torque Tested !!! Nice
Up for sale is a Chicago Pneumatic 1/2 inch drive impact wrench. A CP734. Hardly used. 9 pictures are worth a thousand words! Take a good look. Most importantly it works well! These are rated at 300 ft pounds but the Bolt breakaway torque always surpasses that by far. This is one of the strongest of these that I have tested. It has a hammer pin clutch. Slower than a twin hammer but still very effective Chicago Pneumatic is one of the largest and best air tool producers in the world! If you look hard enough you might find one cheaper but has it been tested on professional equipment and does it have a 30 day SATISFACTION GUARANTEE? This one does! On all 1/2 in impacts. Up for sale is a Matco MT1769A 1/2 inch drive impact wrench by Matco Tools. TORQUE TESTED. 780 ft pds with a bolt breakaway torque of 1180. It performs great! Has seen some use but not a lot. Looks extra nice! These are made by Ingersoll Rand to Matco's standards. Basically a IR2135TIMAX but with some differences that I like. Mainly it looks better and has a better sounding exhaust that seems to give it a boost in torque. Up for sale is a Craftsman 1/2 inch drive 199831 impact wrench. The Max Torque is listed as 400 Ft Lbs. But it easily will break a bolt or nut loose that is torqued to 500 ft pounds. It has a very light show of use and performs well. Beautiful black mirror chrome. A tried and true impact. This is the best one of these I've seen in some time! NOTE.
