Up for sale is a 2012 model Snap On Impact Wrench. 1/2 inch drive. MG725. Arguably the best 1/2 impact on the market today! Torque tested. Good strength. They claim 810 ft pounds in reverse. With a much higher bolt breakaway torque of 1180 ft pds. I can't test that high as the 1/2 impact setup goes to 700 ft pds but I can tell you there is no equal as far as a 1/2 inch impact goes by my experience. And I've tested almost all of them. They just don't break! Steel wear plates. A solid magnesium body, the list just goes on. As with all of Snap On's newer impacts it is much stronger in reverse than forward! USA MADE. This impact is in very good condition! Has a few minor scrapes etc. Comes with a new red boot. I am a mechanic. Chicago Pneumatic CP6500 RSR Air Impact Wrench -TESTED WELL-1/2 dr Good BBT!
Here we have a multiple listing of CP6500 RSR's. This is a excellent impact. Strong and extremely durable. Tried on the torque tester it ripped nuts off that were torqued to 600 ft pds! I have primed these and given them 2 coats of paint. I doubt it is as good as the factory finish but they should hold up well. Look really nice now. Nice rubber like grips for comfort. Especially in the cold weather. True one hand forward reverse switch. 4 adjustments in forward. There are pictures of both here. Note the chip in the handle end on the second one. Up for sale is a Craftsman 1/2 inch drive 19864. good impacts. pin hammers so they work a bit slower that the twin hammer types. this is about the only impact I know of that accurately rates there torque. they say 700 ft pounds and they mean 700 ft pounds. If I was to set my torque tester to 750 ft pounds. I bet it would remove it but it would definitely put undue strain on the impact. Not something you want to do! That being said, 700 ft pounds is a lot of torque. By hand you would need about a 6 foot breaker bar to do it!
