From a state surplus sale. A sloan"Royal" flush valve. It appears to be intended to be completely contained behind the wall, with just a lever on the surface of the wall. The part containing the lever appears about 13.5" from the back side of the flange, to the coupling on the other end. So it would go in a rather thick, probably CMU, wall. Couldn't find any examples of this, so I don't know if this sort of thing is even done anymore, so I thought I'd see if anyone could use them. Fresh off the shelf of a local hardware store. This did not work for my application. It may have had 4 gallons of water ran through it if that much. I decided on a Hudson valve which works great. I paid $75.00 for this and now you can have it a whole lot cheaper. I put a brass reducer in it to a 3/4" and added a galvanized nipple.
