This is an immersion meter for reading the degrees Fahrenheit from 30 to 245. It looks brand new even though I do not have a box for it. It would be great for any one who wants to measure the temperature of a liquid immersing it into a liquid well. I do not know what the thread size is. Looks to be 3/4" fine thread. It was purchased from Fisher Scientific Co. a while ago(the tag is really starting to yellow) It is in its original box and includes the thermometer which measures temps from 0 deg. to 300 deg. A tub of silicone grease to attach it to various surfaces, a magnet clip the will hold the thermometer on metal and the instructions. I have not tested it, I have no reason to believe that it won't work but I cant guarantee that it will.
