Wahl Heat Probe Thermometer w/ Everlast Transister Battery Type 7000
This is a Whal Heat Prober Thermometer Type 7000. I don't really know much about this one. We were cleaning my grandfather garage and came across this. Last time it was used it worked as expected however it has not been tested recently, judging from the battery this seems to be an older piece of equipment. The battery is removed because it shows rust corrosion. All the numbers are legible and it shows minimal wear for its age. Have a look at a very well made. Dial type HVAC thermometer, in very good condition at no reserve. Removed from an air handling unit installed about the year of 1958 where it measured the discharge air temperature. Range is 0 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Chrome bezel is 4-3/4 inch outside diameter with clear glass lens. The housing is approx. 2-1/4 inches deep. In black wrinkle finish, with a flange for back mounting. Sensor probe measures approx. 10 inches long. Approx. 1/4 inch OD, with a 3 inch diameter, heavy steel mounting plate. The armored capillary is approx. 6 feet long. Shipping will be prompt.
