I had it plugged in for a while and the motor did not sound very strong and after a few minutes it started to make a squealing noise. I don't know much about this or why it was doing that. Up for auction is a slightly used battery backup sump pump system made by the leader in home backup pumps. The pump motor specs say it is a 20GPM motor. Corrosion resistant housing(that means plastic) continuous duty motor and is a 12V 21 AMP system. It comes complete with the wall charger and U clamps. All of the documentation is included with a 32 page installation manual. The pictures show my test run of it. The float switch works perfectly and the motor runs quiet and powerfully. The battery shown in the picture was for test purposes only and is NOT included(you wouldn't want to pay the shipping anyway! These systems cost over $300 when new. It works perfectly. I pulled it out of service since my sump never runs and I thought someone else should use it.
