Coffing JLC 1/2 Ton Electric Chain Hoist 110v Model 1016 12' Lift
Used Coffing 1/2 ton JLC 1016 electric chain hoist wired 110v 7.4 amp and travels 16fpm. It has approx. 15' cord with plug. And about 12' lift height. The hoist has factory chain bucket, good hooks with safety latches. The pendant is used condition with some scrapes and dinges on it. The paint on the hoist is chipped and some dinges in the case. Otherwise the hoist is in decent condition. The hoist works great and the safety stops work good. This piece can be picked up from my shop which is 10 miles south and east of downtown Saint Louis. Thanks for looking at this auction. This 1/2 ton electric chain hoist is in good condition. I hooked it up and made a small video of it running up/down. I would prefer local pickup but I will ship to the lower 48 states in USA only. This hoist runs fine. It has been brought to my attention that the control pendant doesn't match the same age as the motor. This looks as though the pickle style controller has been replaced at some point. This control pendant control wiring is the 4 wire(up/dn/power/ground) type that is used in the newer motors. The wiring diagram on the inside has a date code of 1994. The contactor has 1997 on it. I would say this motor is at least 1997, maybe slightly newer. The contactor is the type that allows the motor to work inverted, I.E- like they do in the entertainment industry for lifting lighting and speakers ... moreclusters. This motor could easily be modified with new chain(65ft) and new pigtail and be used for this purpose. I added a new picture to show the contactor. It is an'end' view.
