He did not feel it was necessary to put the brand on. The 9-1/2" jaws close tight. I wish my teeth did as well. The grey paint is in good condition. All the screws and cam work smoothly. Consider the file holder a bonus. It has quite a bit of surface rust which does not affect its usefulness. It should clean up well. However, with just a bit of elbow grease and perhaps some rust remover. The file in the photo is not in the best of condition. For auction is a vintage Craftsman model 2V7901 under bench mount 10" woodworking vise. This is in completely unrestored condition and has only been dusted off. It is in very good and solid working condition. Rods and screws are straight. Though there are some indications of previous use it will surely provides decades of top notch service. It at one time had a wooden dowel as a handle but that disappeared years ago. Please inspect all photos closely to ensure that this item suits both your needs and expectations. NOTICE! I don't know much about this vise but I believe it is missing the spring plate. The mount doesn't appear to be original and the leg appears to have been cut. It tightens down as it should.
