3 Old Vintage Brass Cutting Welding Torches Machine Age Industrial Steampunk Art
Here we have a set of three great vintage or antique welding or cutting torches. The first and largest is made by"Dockson. Detroit USA" This cutter is about 18 inches long. The lever seems to work well. There is some dings, scuffs and wear to the torch but as you can see it has a great look and seems like it would work just fine. The second one is smaller but similar shaped and is made by"Air Reduction NY, NY" As you can see from the photos this is in similar condition. This second torch is about 13 1/2 inches long. The third torch is made by"WELDIT" and has a long copper tube perpendicular to the handle. The perpendicular tube is about 15 inches from the handle. The handle with gas fittings is about 10 1/2 inches long. I think this lot would be great as collectables, use in Steampunk or Industrial art, or to ... morebe used for their intended purpose. This is a Lincoln SA 250 diesel welding machine(1997 model according to the serial number) with the Perkins/Detroit three cylinder engine. This is a 2004 XMT 304 300 Amp Welding Machine. I purchased it on ebay not long ago because i didn't understand that the 304 line has several Phased Machines and styles. This specific Machine is 3 Phase only! It is too exspensive to convert it over to Single phase. However you can buy a Transformer box for Single Phase to convert it to 3 phase power for the machine, it's called a Phase Converter, however i suspect this would be too much for me and something that could mess up and cost as much as the machine to repair in the future. However, This machine does work with exact output Current and Voltage as it reads, which means it's not been abused over the Duty Cycle and holds a constant voltage and current for good welds. local pickup in Newark DE 19711 auction is for a used Lincoln V300 inverter welding machine we bought this machine used a number of years ago to use on a job site. since the job was finished it has been sitting and used very little since. it is wire for 220V single phase. the digital read out does not work. I had it checked out and was told that the rear out only works when its run on three phase input? not sure if thats true or not or if the welding repair shop didnt want to be bothered with it it does run fine and welds smooth. the work it was used on when i ran it was misc structural mostly with 7018 1/8" as far as cosmetics.
