This is an old phonograph arm. I am selling it for a friend. I was over to his house and he was literally going to take it to the scrap yard. Neither he nor I know what it goes to. But I thought it would be a shame for it to be sold for junk if someone could possibly use it for parts or in a restoration project. It literally had been stored in his barn and the machine it went to is long gone. The needle is missing but the sound does travel well down the tube when you slide your finger across the pickup area. It measures approx. 10 3/4 inches in length. The base is 3 3/8 inches across. The holes are 2 1/2 inches on center apart. The pickup diaphram area is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The parts that are supposed to move do. The plating is rough and missing in some places. Some of the ball bearings in the base are there, but some are missing. ... moreIt does turn freely though. Offered here is an original back mount bracket from a Victor 2 phonograph. You are getting the assembly shown in the first 6 photos. It is in good condition as seen with typical wear but no notable issues. Original gold striping has some worn off areas but not as bad as many. Includes elbow hold-down clip and screw. Nickel plating on tone-arm not perfect either but looks pretty good and no doubt would improve with a careful polishing. If you collect you know that these are not easy to come across. I am an unabashed collector/ hoarder but am finally starting to let go some unneeded stuff. So keep watching and maybe you'll find something that will help alleviate the size of my pile! Vintage RCA Victor Radiola AM Radio Presenting for auction is a vintage RCA Victor AM Radio from the 1946 production year. This vintage RCA Victor radio is in reasonably good condition considering its 67 year age. The radio does show wear as can be seen in the photos. The radio does not play. It appears the previous owner attempted to repair it with several capacitors replaced. The radio has its original almond case color with a burgundy tuning dial. White frequency numbers and gold colored Radiola name. I have cleaned the case surface. There are no cracks in the case. This is a classic mid 1940’s design with nice horizontal trim lines. The bottom of the case has the original manufactures labels still intact. I have cleaned the interior of the radio and it looks very good. It is a 5 tube Super-Heterodyne design. The case material is Bakelite ... morethat was painted ivory at the factory. The back panel is in good condition. This is a vintage radio worth taking a look at and with a little refreshing would look good in a kitchen desiring a touch of a retro look. RCA Victor Model 66X3 1946 Vintage Tube Radio WORKS GREAT!
This is a large six tube AC/DC table radio from RCA Victor for model year 1946. The calibration markings on the weird inward-curved glass dial have depth; they are silkscreen painted on both sides of the glass and edge-lighted from both ends. The radio's circuit is super-delux. It has the sixth(RF amplifer) tube. An IF-frequency trap at the antenna input, two bands, AM& shortwave, with adjustable padders on both bands for accurate frequency calibration across the whole dial. This radio sounds great! I've enjoyed listing to this radio while writing this posting. The cabinet is a bit rough with some scratches throughout the case. Its not a total 10, but it works great! This auction is for a vintage RCA VICTOR VICTROLA GOLDEN THROAT radio/phonograph combination. It is a model 9-y 510 made around 1950. The case is a brown baklite/plastic with a very nice grainy/marble finish. It is all original with no missing or broken parts. It is crack or large scratch free except of the little scratch on the top. The tuner has tubes and has very good reception with 2 levels of power/tone. The record player is fully automatic on the style of the 45 J 2/3. It only plays the large hole 45 RPM records and has a stack for multiple records with 3 levels of power/tone. Beautiful RCA Victor Radio. Model 4-C-534, color: Cranberry Red. Very good condition cosmetically. No chips or deep scratches and exceptionally clean. The radio plays but is over-shadowed by a loud hum. The problem is probably a bad power capacitor which can be easily replaced. The left dial is the clock and the right is the AM dial. The clock has the on-off-auto(alarm) knob. The center knob on the front bottom is the volume control. Vintage Victorian Metal Wire Basket Mouse Animal Trap Victor 8" by 5" Original
Fresh from an upstate New York estate! This offering is for an antique Victorian mouse/ animal trap by Victor. It looks like it would still probably catch mice today if used. The trap consists of a wire basket with two openings. There is tunnel opening that leads to a balanced bait spring- not unlike a teeter totter. When the mouse goes for the bait on the"door" shuts behind him trapping him in. The mouse was caught alive and the trapper then dunked the mouse in a pail of water to drown him. The wire basket is brown with surface rust on the metal wires- which only adds to it's charm. It is study and flexible however and all wires appear to be present and accounted for.
