This machine works perfectly, it comes with a flex head torch, regulator, nice heavy duty foot pedal, and the grounding clamp, everything is ready to go welding you just need to add your gas bottle, this machine was used lightly for small fabrication jobs here at my home shop, it has not been abused or misused, it has a nice homebuilt cart that comes with the welder, one of the rear wheels on the cart has a piece broken out of the tread but it does not affect the rolling at all, the torch has a small chip out of the very bottom of the handle down below where you grip, and the machine is also a little dusty from sitting in the shop, other than that it is perfect. I pulled it out 6 months ago to use for stick and the display was just wandering up and down. I did weld that day. I set the current Pot where I thought it should be and did weld with it but the display was all over the place even while welding. Hope this describes what is wrong with this unit. Miller Maxstar 175 welder converted to 220 single phase power and tested with stick and tig. Works great. Should have about the same output as the Maxstar 152 welder(150 amps DC) Has lift arc. I converted this using instructions on Honda tech forum( do a search) I have done several of these conversions and they work great. Welder comes without power cord because I pulled the cord off my plaz to test it. No leads, no torch, no foot pedal. Pretty clean machine for it's age.

Hobart Welder with pto Vintage w/50' Cables Stick
Here is an old Hobart welder with PTO. This welder works great! They don't build them like this anymore. It is heavy guessing around 1000# The welder has been modified as the on off switches are not working so they have been by-passed. We hooked up to manual throw box to turn on and off. The cables are each 50' long and in pretty good shape. It is 220/440 3 phase. And 200 amps of welding power which I am sure it would do all day long. Generator says 150 amps and 40 volts. The welder runs smooth and quiet. You can weld with it before buying. Please feel free to ask any questions. Local pickup in Wauseon OH only. We have forklift for loading in you truck.
