You're bidding on an Everlast tig and stick welder that I've owned for just over a year and a half(warranty started late Nov. or early Dec. 2012) NOTE: The warranty IS transferable. And there is just under 3-1/2 years left on it. I am selling this welder for the simple reason that I was finally able to buy the Everlast 250EX I've been drooling over for a few years. This 160STH comes with everything that was part of the original(basic) purchase. Metco Fusebond metallizer like arc stick welder
I bought this beast because I thought it was a stick welder. It isn't. It's a close relative. A metallizer. I'm not an expert, but from what I've been able to learn it's used much like MIG welder, but with special electrodes that lay down a thin, wide layer on the surface. The printed label mentions a"brush" and you can see that the electrode holder has a rectangular slot; I'm guessing the electrode is something like a wire brush that is dragged along in contact with the work. It is used for such things as building up worn machine surfaces and restoring plating. Specs: input is 110V@ 29A or 220V@ 18A. Output maximum of 9V@ 345A. And that's why it won't work as an arc welder- 9 volts just isn't enough to sustain the arc. I have powered it up and attempted to weld with it. So I can say that all ... morethe transformer taps are good and it does put out a lot of current- just not at enough voltage to actually make an arc. It'll sure heat up the whole length of a 1/8" rod though! The power cord with 50A plug. Ground cable and electrode holder and cable are included. The shielding gas hose is also included, but the tank and regulator are not. The insulation is all in good condition with some scuffing, but no cracks or missing chunks. Dimensions: 14x17x24" tall including the casters. The unit weighs 130 lbs. And the handpiece and cables add about another 20 lbs. Local pickup is highly recommended. But if you insist I can drop it off at a shipping depot in St. Louis for you. Palletizing/crating and moving it from here to you are between you and the shipper. I get out 100 miles or so West with some regularity. So if you're west of St. Louis as far as Jefferson City or Columbia we can work something out for a modest cost.

Here for sale I have two vintage? Welding Cable connectors? I found these at an estate sale. I don't know for sure what these are used for I only have the boxes to go by. There is nothing on google I can find. I think this allows for twisting. 360 degrees if needed, in real fat wire like welding wire. Maybe it is new never used and I was wrong to call it used. Maybe you solder the cable into this thing like you would when you make your own car or motorcycle battery terminal? I really don't know what this is or what to call it sorry. Both are red. I do not have a black one to offer. The connector bodies are marked: HAR-WORTH MFG. CO. No. 2, but the boxes are marked: Hold-Titecable Marquette WA 2047 Hold-Tightcable Connector 300 Amp. This Miller welder welds great! The welds in the pictures were done this welder on the current listed by the weld. Other than the crappy paint job it is in very good condition(see the picture of the insides) It came out of a high school welding program that was shut down. It is 208/230/460 single phase. I included a picture of the specifications on this machine(some of the numbers have rubbed off so I included a photo of an Airco Bumblebee 250 specification's it's the same welder just another color) It does not come with a cord or any leads.
