I purchased this beauty last year through the music zoo. I have not gigged it since purchasing it. They told me there that It was toured with billy joel after being built through one of their MB custom shop runs- and then returned and place on cosignment. I have replaced the pickups with Don Mare pickups(stelly in the neck and super sport in the bridge) and replaced the saddles with brass adjusted glendales(a must in any tele for intonation ect) I have the original jason smith custom shop pickups that came with it and the original steel saddles(which I'll include in shipping) If you know anything about Don Mare you know those pickups are fantastic and take about a month or more to get. Up for auction is one owner. Well cared for 2009 Paul Reed Smith(PRS) SC 245 Sunburst Model Electric Guitar. It has a flame top with bird inlays on a rosewood neck. The pick ups are PRS 57/08. The guitar has not been abused, and only taken out of the home a small number of times since the time of purchase. It has some very, very, faint buckle rash on the back side of the body. There is only one hard to notice faint, very fine, 1/8" hair line in width slight chip on top of binding near upper tone control. It might not be noticed if not pointed out. L et’s get the minor imperfections out of the way first: There’s very light wear on the front(the usual superficial pick marks) and a ½” 1.5 cm) scrape along the binding. Actually it’s not binding; it’s a strip of almost white maple that was left unpainted. Very elegant. There are two dings on the back. One on the belly carve and another on the top edge of the lower bout. They’re both about a ¼” 5 mm) across. No buckle rash, but there are very light scratches, probably from my shirts’ buttons, but they’re so superficial that they don’t show up on photographs. All ... morethis is purely cosmetic; the guitar is in perfect working order. Now let’s move on to what really matters. Feel, tone and all-around mojo. At 8 lbs, 1 oz(3.7 kg) this guitar is very light for a mahogany& maple solid-body. The neck is a regular that measures 1 21/32" at the nut. Which is around 4.2 cm if I got the math right, and 2 1/4" at the body(5.71 cm) The 22 frets are in excellent shape and the 10″ radius fingerboard is fast and easy to negotiate. I have it set up for.11s. Yet it still feels slinkier than most guitars with.10s. Playing is all pleasure. No pain. The r osewood fretboard is very dark with beautiful black mineral lines that run parallel to the strings. Gorgeous. The shimmering half-moon dot inlays– I believe they’re abalone– stand out in stark contrast to this luscious grain. If you’re unfamiliar with these original Seymour Duncan soapbar pickups. Know this: They’re single coils on steroids. On the one hand, they cut through the mix in the studio and the din on stage better than most humbuckers. Up for sale by necessity is a 1995(2nd year of manufacture) PRS McCarty guitar. This piece is all original. Including the hardshell case, warranty, card of authenticity and hang tag. Hard to find goldtop finish. Two dings(pictured) in the clear coat on the headstock(from original owner) and a few pencil tips on the back keep this guitar from being mint. Could not photograph the back marks, they are so minute. Plays and sounds superb as you would expect from a Paul Reed Smith. Tone pot lifts to split humbuckers to single coils. Mahogany & Marble feeder with Porcelain Bowls ~ made by Maitland-Smith
Handsome mahogany dog feeder stand with marble on wood insert and two porcelain bowls. Made by Maitland-Smith and no longer made. This is our showroom floor sample. So there are a few"dings" here and there, but not really visible to the eye. The reproduction porcelain bowls look old with crackling. Near excellent condition considering this is a floor sample. Never used! Original Maitland-Smith suggested retail price $690.00 20 3/4" wide x 10 1/2" high. Bowls are 7" in diameter and 1" deep. The only problem I see with this elevated feeder are the bowls' depth! However. The beauty of this reproduction makes the refilling of the bowls worth it! Weighs 11.2 lbs.
