Up for auction is this Army Green Secretarial LC Smith Corona Typewriter Model 8 10. This typewriter works and looks great. I really can not find any issues with this typewriter. No marks or scratches. The label on the front states it is from" Sullivan's Office Supplies and Equipment Co. in Taunton Mass" Look at the last picture and you will see that the ribbon still has ink and I typed all of the keys in and out of the shift position. The bell does ring when you get to the end of the margin. very clear and clean sound. This typewriter belongs in a museum or a very special display area. I have never seen one in this good of condition. The serial number stamped on it is 1035897 G10, which dates it to 1931. Both water heaters were in operation at the time and performing perfectly. In the removal process a gauge was broken on one of the units. An easy repair.
