Steel forged.seem like there is more words that i cant see due to wear. weighs 2 lbs. handle 5 1/2 inches. blade length 9 inches. the widest width of blade is 5 1/4 inches at the front end. at the middle width is 4 inches. all in very nice good shape. handle has beautiful finish. Three Vintage Metal Pie Plates: Baker's Square. Mrs Robinson Fine Restaurant Pies, Mrs Smith Mello-Rich Pie I am downsizing my home and that includes finding new homes for my collectibles. I bought these three pie plates at an antique store in PA nearly 40 years ago. I kept them but never used them for pies. My husband has diabetes now so I do little baking of any kind. The Baker's Square plate is 8" in diameter and appears to be aluminum. The other two plates are 9" wide(inside measurements) They show age- and use-related wear. Pitting and loss of finish. Smith became the owner of a large lumber yard, a member of the Chester Land Company and the East Liverpool Bridge Company.
