nice condition plays great has an attractive top on it original owner changed pickups to Lace Alumitone pickups comes with a gig bag here's a description of the pickups The first pickup from this century. Huge top and bottom end. Huge passive design. Cool looks. This radical departure from pickup design is aluminum based. Rather than copper. Result: less resistance, higher output coupled to a"current driven design" as opposed to conventional voltage based pickups. The aluminum water jet cut exoskeleton is then matted to a micro winding using 90% less fine copper wire. A low impedance/high impedance pickup is then created. Sonic Evaluation More bass then traditional single coils. More volume, mids are slightly more then conventional pickups. Highs are clear yet smooth, nicely equalized. Here is a very nice birth and baptismal certificate printed by the Eagle Book Store in Reading. The form was done for Laura Kate Smith. Born 08 January 1877 in Sinking Spring and daughter of Charles W. Smith and Mary A.H. Huntzinger. This family shows up in the 1880 census of Sinking Spring which lists, Charles Smith(age 28) Mary A. age 28) and Laura(age 3) Charles is noted to be a“Tinsmith. Listed just prior to this family, and thus living next-door, is the family of William Hunsicker(age 49) and wife Sarah(age 50) These are Mary’s parents. The 1870 census of Spring Township shows this family and lists, William Hunsicker(age 39) Sarah Ann(age 41) and Mary Ann(age 18) This child married Oscar F. Nester on 26 June 1903. They show up in the 1910 census of Spring Township which lists, Oscar Nester(age 32) and Laura(age 33) This couple is buried ... moreat Sinking Spring Cemetery. Laura’s tombstone says she died in 1944. Her death certificate says she died 12 May 1944. Oscar, reportedly, died 30 Nov 1923. The form is 13.5 by 17 inches. It will be shipped flat.

The tray measures 15" diameter and is marked with Style Number 40A and the Palmer-Smith trademark. Palmer-Smith aluminum wares were only produced between May 1935 and December 1941. I have several aluminum pieces from the same collector. With more to come, from an extensive collection that includes quality vintage work by Wendell August, Palmer-Smith, Town, James Deponceau, Arthur Armour, Laird, Cellini-Craft, Sheasley, Findley, Rossi, Uber and many others. Also represented is work by New England artisans(e.g. Whitney and Kimball) as well as 1930s handmade and later uncommon items from Buenilum, Everlast and ... moreContinental. In 1935, he left Wendell August and started his own firm, also in Grove City, to produce his own line of Palmer-Smith aluminum gift wares. Palmer-Smith creations are duplicative of no other aluminum wares of the era, having a consistently distinctive style characterized by bold and massive appearance, uncomplicated form, restrained intaglio decorative motifs, and occasional use of cast or machined ornamental accents. The firm ceased production of aluminum wares in December 1941. Early Ledger+Civil War Scrapbook Leather Smith 1817-1865 Abolition+Soldiers+News An interesting dual purpose item ~ a ledger book that was later used to keep items relating to the Abolition Movement and the Civil War. 1817 ~ 1865 The book belonged to Elijah Carter. Of Greenfield Township, near Erie, Pennsylvania. The early entries deal primarily with leather smithing- shoe making. And repair of saddles, harnesses, horse collars, etc. This part is filled with names and is a valuable genealogical resource for the area. The later additions begin in the 1840's and continue through the course of the Civil War. These consist primarily of clippings from abolitionist newspapers and periodicals. DESCRIPTION: Marbled paper over boards with leather over spine. Unlined pages with hand drawn lines and columns. Clippings are generally folded and glued ... morein. I counted about 70 pages completely filled with entries. And/or clippings. Size- 6 3/4 x 8" Condition: Wear to covers with scuffs. Scratches and abrasions. Pieces missing from leather at top and bottom of spine. Binding is a bit loose but generally intact. Paper is age-toned. Discoloration caused by glue. Some tears, including a couple of pages torn out and missing. Scattered stains, including ink marks. Generally good condition for a book of this age. This area was settled in the late 18th century by people of primarily Welsh extraction. The ledger includes the name of Ira Shadduck. Vtg 1970s Smith Corona SCM Classic 10 Portable Manual Typewriter& Case Serviced Description: Up for sale is an estate rescued Blue Smith Corona SCM Classic 10 Portable Manual Typewriter with hard case with key. Original instruction booklet with other original paperwork and a new two color ribbon! This typewriter works great as seen in the YouTube video at the end of this description. This great old typewriter has been opened up. Cleaned out, and lubricated. The platen roller is in good condition with no gouges or cracks. This model Classic 10 has a serial number of 6MSG-109667. Unfortunately the typewriter database doesn’t have any records after the 1960s so we weren’t able to determine the manufacture date from that. However. There was a handwritten note in the manual that said it was purchased in December 1972 for $105.47. This is a ... morepretty full featured typewriter for being a portable and it types great! It has touch control and tab set/clear controls right from the keyboard. The margins are adjusted by sliding the levers behind the paper holder to the desired position for each side. This machine is in great condition! The outside of the machine looks great after we cleaned it up. We don’t see any scratches or chips in the paint and the top cover slides open easily. The only problem we had with it is the lever to release the carriage had broken off on the right side. We have epoxied it back on and it feels very tight. You can see the repair in the 9th photo to the left or above. This machine has a full sized 10” platen. The machine overall measures 14” wide x 12 1/2” from front to back x about 5” tall not including carriage return lever. The case is still solid with no cracks. It closes and latches securely and has the original key. To open the case squeeze the two buttons on each side of the latch. Then to remove the typewriter from the base of the case. Push the button on the bottom of the latch up. In put the typewriter back into the case, line up the slots in the back of the case with the back of the ty

Carte de vista photo photograph image, this is an image of a grave stone, hard to read but is Henry Smith Esq. info I could find about Henry Smith Esquire was in Wikipedia, stated, Henry Smith was a Bristol attorney-at-law and amateur artist who was forced to flee the country in 1809 after a duel in which he killed his opponent. His travels around Scotland and later Spain and Portugal during the Peninsula War(where he served in the army under Wellington) were recorded in a diary(1809–1810) which is today kept at the University of Kansas. Offered is a mint condition copy of the first US edition of the stunning photo book by Pennie Smith covering the international travels of The Clash. Titled"The Clash: Before& After. The book is a masterpiece just considering Smith's access to getting amazing photos of the band, but also includes on target comments about the photos by not only the photographer, but also from Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon, and Topper Headon. Much of the book covers the band's travels across the US, with other scenes from the UK. Although the book is dated 1980, it was not published in the US until 1982, and the title page states First American Edition. Also included is the"review copy" slip from US publishers Little Brown and Company, which notes that the book would be published on March 31, 1982(and is suited for ages 12 ... moreup) The slip measures 4 1/4 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches long and has sat inside the front of the book since it was released. Aside from the smallest amount of bottom edge wear coming from being stored in a bookshelf since I received it, and a few faint lines of shading on the top right edge of the white border on the cover, also from shelf wear, this book is in excellent vintage condition, and was probably only read once. This book has over 150 pages and is a generous size, measuring just over 8 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches long. I am the original owner of this item and it has been in my possession for 32 years. Prefer to be pickup only* if not please email for other possible arrangements) For auction is a grouping of 10 photos of Ralph Errolle(Smith) Stage name Ralph Errolle, a famous tenor opera singer at the time. Born around the 1890 ish mark. Most are pictures of him in various stage costumes of the opera. There is a family photo of him with a young girl, I assume his daughter, as he had 2 of them. One was Marthe Errolle) also an opera and stage singer. One of the photos is a paper from the AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF VOCAL PEDAGOGY established by the National Ass. of Teachers of Singing, certifying that Ralph Errolle has met the requirements to be a Fellow of the above named association. Signed in 1961. I think in later life he switched to teaching when his career was ending. The other photo is of an unknown person, I don't think its him, sitting ... moreat a piano, composing maybe. Frames are of mediocre quality and make. All of the photos, most are glossies, are in good condition. There may be some spotting here and there. One of the pictures(one of the light colored ones, has some marks, but not too bad, as it does not have its glass. It would be easier, and I prefer to make this a pick up only auction to, but if not, I MIGHT be able to remove photos from the frames, to mail. Smith-Corona"Sterling" 1940's Typewriter. Classic workhorse replacing the early corona lines of the 1930's, that included the Standard, Sterling and the Silent. This model sports a stream lined design, billed as speed line and matte finish. The speed line models were well built and appeared to be the choice of many writers and typist for decades. This particular model is in pristine condition with case that houses the typewriter. It appears that it may have come with keys to unlock the box but works without them. Box has a few scars nothing bad for its age.
