Offered in this auction is a charming. Beautiful brass Chinese Silk Coal Iron. This was sold as a 2 piece set at an estate sale. The support piece on the bottom of the handle was to keep the iron from tipping. These unique irons are now used as decorative accents. This one measures about 7" long, 3.5" wide. Depth is about 2" The bottom is incised China. The larger piece is 7" tall by 7" wide with ornate handles adorning the sides. The bottom of the larger piece appears to be copper. This Steam Punk coffee table/display bench is created by re-purposing a large piece of what must have been the work counter from an old fabric store as there is part of a yardstick embedded in the front edge of the table. The table is 19" wide by 45.5" long and has an adjustable(by several inches) antique cast iron base that is currently set at a height of 25" Due to the prior use of the butcher block. Apparently as an industrial-type sewing machine table, there were a number of drilled holes, which I have left as part of the piece's history. I decided to use one of the existing holes to wire in a vintage light globe at one end of the table. The fixture can be easily disconnected and removed. Rare 19Century Trade Stimulator Roulette Wheel Cigar Cutter Cast Iron No Reserve This listing is for what I believe is a pretty rare trade stimulator- cigar cutter. It is cast iron and measures about 9 inches or 22 cm by 4 inches or 10 cm high. It has a dome top with two holes which are the holes to put the tips of a cigar in. The dome is marked on either side"RED OR BLACK" with an arrow. Under this dome is a spinning wheel which holds the inside cigar cutters and a set of eight numbers. These numbers stick out from the wheel on round tabs. Each number also has their individual tab painted with a red or a black background. All this mechanism is encased in fancy iron work. I believe this worked much like a modern roulette wheel. You can bet on a number. Or bet on red or black, or a combination of the two. My guess is either this ... moremachine came with a small number board or the the number bet was verbal. There is no makers mark that I can see. The bottom is stamped"PAT'S AP'D FOR" The mechanism work smoothly and almost like it is on ball bearing it is that smooth. The cast iron is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. It is in it's original black and red paint without any restoration or repair. A very handsome and interesting trade stimulator. This very nice Art Deco style Westinghouse range clock measures approximately 5 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches across at the base. I am not positive exactly what it is made of. I'm guessing cast iron, as it is very heavy. It does keep time, and ticks just fine. The alarm bell is quite loud, however, is missing the knob that one would use to set the alarm. This extraordinary piece is made of solid cast iron. Hand-painted, and fitted with two brass insert cups. It depicts an elegantly formed, highly detailed, hunting hound, who is walking and sniffing between the two containers, that are themselves, highly detailed to show stalks of corn growing in a corn field. Although we cannot find any markings on this piece, it appears to be quite old and in excellent condition. The paint on the edge of one of the dog's ears, is very slightly rubbed off, and the larger of the two brass cup inserts shows some corrosion on the inside, yet it will still function well. This auction is for the top round trivet disc with a diameter of 8-3/4" Removed from an old cast iron stove that has a roller rail system with springs on underside of stove. Stove is a Model 2 Jotul. Made in Norway from early 60's to late 70's. Should be 8 photos total. This auction is not for the entire stove, but is for the round top disc alone. The disc looks to be in great shape, other than some pitting.

A pair of antique cast iron Keyhole Andirons or Firedogs. Marked with the number 20. Maker unknown. I'm sure these were solid black when they were made but now they're brown-black from use. Measure 12.5" tall x 10.5" deep x 7.5" wide across the front piece. The beam that holds logs measures 9.5" long. Each andiron weighs over 8 lbs. They are in good condition. Showing their age but still really nice.
