The original electric cord need total replacing because it decayed away from the 91 years of being around since it was first made. The original HOOVER electrical plug is still attached& could be reused. The original drive belt is installed and intact but like the electrical they both should be replaced due to age.The fabric bag has a couple very small holes that I found. I put on a spring that attaches to the bag and a bracket that sits 8" above the bag. Some minor paint loss to the wooden handle along with the electrical motor. Height adjustment screw for the vacuum worked very good as well with the wooden handle adjustment levers. Main Identification HOOVER nameplate is in super condition with model ... morenumber and serial number on this. Even the electrical ID plate on the electric motor is in very good condition as a picture shows. with a electric cord looking like this I would never use the vacuum without replacing the cord.
